Virginia National Guard task force begins federal active duty for African security mission

State and federal elected officials and senior military leaders join families, friends and fellow Soldiers to mark the official start of federal active duty for Task Force Red Dragon Nov. 27, 2021, at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. The tide is turning against the banks – Part 1

South Africa’s courts have traditionally weighed in on the side of the banks when it comes to home repossession, even though the loans have been securitised and are now under new ownership. When asked to produce the original mortgage documents signed by the borrower, the banks often claim they have been “lost in a fire.” But the tide is turning against the banks, says consumer lawyer, Robyn Zimmerman. In this two-part interview, she explains how the courts have applied different standards of evidence when it comes to banks, while consumers get the short end of the stick. The good news is that courts are gaining a better understanding of consumer law, all of which is leading up to a titanic class action suit against the banks. Pull up a chair and grab the soda, folks, this is getting interesting. 

Robyn Zimmerman is a Cape Town-based consumer lawyer who recently came to national prominence after appearing on two SABC documentaries on “Securitisation” (the process whereby bank loans are bundled together and on-sold to third parties, and then traded on the stock exchange for profit). She represents several clients whose homes and properties have been repossessed by the banks in highly controversial circumstances.  One of her clients is Zulfa Samsodien, who successfully defended her property from bank repossession in a Cape High Court case against First National Bank (FNB) in 2008, on the grounds that FNB had securitised the home loan and had therefore had no legal standing to bring action in this case. The Samsodiens were subsequently sequestrated – again under highly controversial circumstances – and Robyn is advising in an appeal against the sequestration order. The legal ramifications of securitisation and other questionable bank practices hold huge import for all South Africans. We asked Robyn to share some of her insights in this two-part interview.

Acts: Robyn, thanks for talking to us. Please tell us a bit about yourself and how you got into consumer law. 

My background is in litigation and conveyancing, previously for the banks, as a director at two medium-sized legal practices. I subsequently left the “dark side” and established a practice which fights for the financial well being of any family unit, with my partner and husband.  We are both certified to practice in both the lower and higher courts. We litigate extensively and our areas of expertise naturally became focussed and specialised in consumer law and consumer credit law as a result of our extensive litigation against the banks encompassing over 1,800 cases in the last four years.

Acts: The SABC documentaries on the subject of “securitisation” have elevated the national debate on this issue to unprecedented levels. There seems to be a growing awareness around the world on the subject of securitisation, with banks being forced by courts in the US to pay out huge sums of money to borrowers whose homes had been fraudulently or illegally repossessed. Can you explain briefly what securitisation is, and how does it affect a home owner?

There are two types of securitisation:

1. Traditional securitisation – which is fairly easy to prove – in which the bank sells its debt to a company that trades with that debt on (stock) exchanges.  The bank loses its ownership in the debt in this instance and depending upon whether the purchaser of this debt complies with consumer (and other) law, the debt may be reduced to the capital amount, or be written off in particular circumstances. It’s extremely easy for us to determine and prove whether a mortgage loan has been securitised in this way. But it is difficult for us to prove securitisation of other loans as these cessions are not registered at the Deeds Registry.
2. Synthetic securitisation was developed, in my opinion, due to the problems encountered with traditional securitisation, and is extremely hard to prove. Although we know the banks still securitises their debt, they now do so synthetically in which they trade in the derivatives of the loan (interest and cost of credit) and not the loan itself. Depending upon which vehicles the banks employ and whether these vehicles comply with the consumer legislation in conjunction with the bank, the consequences are similar.

It is, however extremely difficult for us to determine and prove synthetic securitisation. We recommend that the Consumer Commission investigate both issues and deliver an outcome therein.

Since the above trade is concealed and hidden from the consumer for what we assume is the financial gain of the banks, and since it is my belief that consumers are harmed by this conduct, the Commission has jurisdiction to investigate and decide upon this issues.

The problem that exists with the Commission, aside from suffering under huge administrative issues, is that where the bank employs attorneys and counsel (that are) educated, experienced and equipped to deal with these matters, the consumers are not allowed legal representation, nor is any representative or attorney allowed to receive remuneration for the endeavours with the Commission.  The scales of justice are against the consumer the moment they file a complaint. I find the Commission’s conduct in their adjudication unconstitutional and lacking in just administrative action.

Acts: Can we pick up on the subject of fires. Several banks have sought and obtained judgment against defaulting home owners, yet when asked to produce evidence of the original mortgage note signed by the borrower, they have claimed they were destroyed in a fire, or otherwise lost.  What advice do you have for someone facing repossession by one of the banks, when the bank is unable to show the original mortgage note?

In theory, I love the laws of our country, its jurisprudence and the systems we employ to render justice. My problem with the judiciary – although I see a trend in judgments that this is slowly changing – is their passion to assert the rule of law when it comes to the banks, and their dispassion to assert it when it comes to consumers. I have often sat in the High Court to hear a judge bark at an unrepresented consumer: “Do you owe the money?”, with the advocate for the bank confirming and asserting its debt. At the same time the consumers do not know what defences are available to them and surely do not know the information to which they are entitled.  With banks’ counsel and attorneys convincing the courts that the only issue is whether the consumer owes the money, we have very bad consumer common law currently in existence. There is little or no account for the rule of law in our country.

I have not seen one original document in my time litigating against the banks.  But should the consumer file a copy of their opposing affidavits or pleas at court, they would need to explain why the original is not before the court. This is correct and so should it be required for the bank to adequately explain the loss of the original. Truthfully, transparently and openly.  The problem with the fire is that all the evidence related thereto is once again concealed by the bank.  Security documents are generally barcoded so they can be tracked. Upon conducting inventory of the lost facilities (due to fire) in 2009 and now again 2013, the banks were obliged to contact their registering attorneys, to supply them with a full copy of their security documents containing the signatures. To my knowledge the bank has not done so. Security documents are also stored in fire-proof cabinets, therefore an explanation of how they then become destroyed must also be tendered.

However at the end of the day, should the judge feel that the defences that you raise, or that your disputes are without merit, they will decide – departing from the rule of law – against you. Where I would agree to such a departure upon exception, the higher courts have employed this departure to such an extent that there is little or no rule of law in consumer credit litigation. This opens the entire system open to abuse, by credit providers who constantly push parameters to make litigation easier for themselves.

On this issue we have been deeply disappointed by the judicial system.

Unfortunately, it is extremely unlikely that you will be heard if you do not have an experienced attorney to guide you.  Sometimes consumers need to accept when they do not have a case.  Sometimes they need to be encouraged to persevere where they do.  Some consumers are equipped enough to make the correct decision.  Most are not.

Litigation in the high court can be accessible, if your attorneys are experienced and certified to deal with the matter without the need for counsel.  It is the additional expense of counsel that consumers can often not afford. So I would ask consumers to request from the law societies a list of the attorneys so equipped to deal with matters to ensure that legal costs are kept to a minimum.

Acts: If the bank is unable to produce the original “wet ink” mortgage note signed by the borrower when the mortgage loan was taken out, does this constitute grounds to ask the court to throw out the case? 

The Bank would then need to authenticate the documents it seeks to use in its case. Where there is a good faith and/or factual dispute, the matter will continue to trial for evidence related thereto.

Acts: It seems judges are all too willing to believe the banks when they say the original documents have gone missing. You have made the point that a bank cannot calculate the final balance owed by the defaulting borrower without this original mortgage note. Why is this? Surely an electronic copy will do?

The agreement entered into between the parties is of importance. The mortgage bond merely embodies the security for the indebtedness derived from the loan agreement. The original of both is required in terms of the rule of law. Copies of both may be accepted, dependent upon whether there is a dispute of fact pertaining to the contents of the copy or the signatures, the matter may be referred for oral evidence or trial.

This would critically depend upon how your defence is constructed and what your defence is, and what avenues of consumer law you are seeking to employ, etc.  In the construction of your defence you must be careful not to inadvertently admit to something which will prove the case against you. The Plaintiff or bank bears the onus of proving their case, so be careful not to acknowledge or admit anything which relieves them of this onus.

American truckers are putting Washington DC on notice

There seems to be no end to the political theater in Washington DC. But what began as a simple game of chicken between the White House and the Republican opposition has quickly morphed into a game of political Russian roulette.

A nation polarized, stuck in the ultimate political gridlock imaginable over federal spending. As America waits for a resolution to the federal government shutdown, an unlikely community has decided to put their money where their mouth is. By all accounts, they are the most under-appreciated industry in today’s America. Truck drivers are the backbone of the American economy. Everything Americans own, buy and need is delivered to them by trucks daily, yet few take any notice of the people behind the wheels. That could all change after this weekend, as America gets a taste of its first-ever diesel-driven flash mob.

According the organizers at RideForTheConstitution.org, over 3,000 truckers, thousands more demonstrators on foot, have already RSVP’d to converge on the nation’s capital starting this Friday, Oct 11th, as they plan to slow traffic into Washington DC, and present a list of demands to law makers there.

“Somebody had to do it,” explained Zeeda Andrews, a former country singer and Mac Truck spokesmodel. Organizers have been surprised by the amount of support they’ve gathered since their campaign gained visibility last month.
“I didn’t think it would be this big. Maybe that’s because the American people are just fed up. It’s more than just a trucking issue now, we are in a constitutional crisis and something has to be done, and it’s common people like myself – with nothing to lose, who are going to get something done.”

Considering the fact that most people have never sat in the cab of an 18 wheeler in their life, the DC truckers have somehow managed to attract a pretty wide appeal. Already, parallel protests have sprung up, set to take place in most major US cities on Friday and Saturday.

Larry Klayman, a former US Justice Department prosecutor, and founder of Freedom Watch, has also volunteered his support for the DC truckers’ campaign. This past summer Klayman represented the families of Navy SEAL Team 6 who were killed when their Chinook helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan in August 2011, following the White House’s rather incredible raid on the alleged bin Laden lair in Abbotabad, Pakistan.

“I’m throwing my support behind this campaign because we’ve have had enough. Our government has broken away from the people, and our grievances are not being heard, so we need to get out there and make it clear to the powers that be that be – whether it’s President Obama, Speaker of the House John Boehner, or whether it’s majority leader Harry Reid in the Senate – that we are simply not going to take it anymore. The time has come to save our country, and we’ll do it in the style of Ghandi, Lech Walesa, and Martin Luther King”, said Klayman.

Political demands

Organisers will join Klayman today at the steps of the US Capitol building to present their list of demands. At the top of that list is an appeal for economic survival, with a call for immediate action on the spiralling cost of diesel and harassment from federal regulatory agencies which is not only driving up costs of goods and services, but also killing transportation profits, pushing independent truckers into fuel poverty, and ultimately out of business.

Beyond this emerges a broader spectrum movement of political dissent, which echoes concerns heard from many different quarters in the US.

As far as civil disobedience goes, their protest is no walk in the park. Logistically speaking, it’s a nightmare. Then there’s the political demands, which, in terms of the average Americans’ attention deficit disorder, are comprehensive, and not exactly ‘media friendly’ – especially for the likes of MSNBC and FOX. But unlike the much celebrated, but highly ineffective Occupy Movement, which ended up being a controlled street party whose indelible mark on society was that it produced a boiled down abstract of class warfare – ‘The 1% vs. the 99%’ – the DC Truckers have a fairly sharp libertarian agenda, coupled with a detailed list of constitutional demands.

Unless you’ve been hiding in a bunker lately, you would know that something is serious brewing in America. In the last year alone, – the White House has been dodging and fighting to stave off a seemingly endless daisy chain of scandals. In addition to the Navy SEAL Team 6 cover-up, there is a not-so-small issue of the White House using the IRS to target the President’s political opponents, the horrific Benghazi cover-up involving a dead US Ambassador and servicemen, and gun-running from Libya to Syria, and the US support of al Qaeda fighters in Syria.

In addition to these and other federal interventions hurting truckers’ livelihoods, the campaign feels that all unconstitutional federal laws and agencies should be wiped from the books. They include the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Transport Security Agency (TSA), and The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare).

US talk radio host Pete Santilli has volunteered to help the truckers get their message out over the airwaves.

“If you look at the list of demands, regardless of where you are in the political spectrum, you would not disagree with: stop supporting al Qaeda (in Syria), don’t raise the debt ceiling – and threaten us – that if we don’t print another trillion dollars that they’ll collapse out system – that’s a forceful means to steal money from us. President Obama needs to be held accountable for crimes committed against the United States and Congress needs to hear those crimes.”

“The beauty of this event is that it is open and nonpartisan – it absolutely cuts right through party lines. Every American can participate in this”. Santilli adds here, “John McCain and Lindsey Graham – they must go. Any of these unconstitutional legislators, anyone who has committed unconstitutional acts in office, must vacate voluntarily. If they refuse to go, we want to cut off their money supply so they won’t be able to make millions off us anymore.”

Attacks and Censorship

The Truckers are not without their enemies, who are keen to discredit them, silence them, or both.

As their campaign goes viral, so goes the media shooting match. The campaign has been directly targeted by George Soros-funded leftwing outlet, Media Matters, who have been busy digging up old Facebook posts and ‘likes’ from personal pages of Ride For The Constitution’s organisers, in effect, waging a character assassination against them.
When running a 21st century activist campaign, one must also beware of deadly communitarian policing, also known as “community guidelines” policy.

Ride For The Constitution’s Facebook page was live only six days when it received 86,000 likes, only to be promptly pulled down by the social network. The same happened with its Twitter account, which was pulled down after only 6 days.

In both cases, accounts were frozen because of an anonymous complaint.

Santilli says he’s mounting a legal challenge against one of the social networks.

“It seems like the First Amendment doesn’t apply on social networks. You work hard to build-up a huge audience, only to see it disappear in an instant – because a few political enemies anonymously complain that they were somehow offended”.

Fuel poverty

As with all political movements through history, the pain normally starts in the wallet. Rising toll road charges and inflated diesel prices are forcing many out of America’s trucking industry. In 2013, the reality is that drivers are losing their trucks – and losing their business. After labour, diesel fuel is the second highest expense for motor carriers, and can reach as much as much as 20% of transport’s total operating costs.

Organisers Zeeda Andrews and Michael ‘JB’ Schaffner concluded in their joint statement on what they feel is a national crisis:

“By no means are these the only issues that need action, to be resolved. There are many, many more issues that continue to plague this industry, as new regulations create even more contradictions in law. As per the fourteenth amendment of our Constitution, “No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges, or immunities of Citizens of the United States, nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws”.

“So let these issues be the beginning of where we take a stand, not just as The American Drivers, but as Free and Independent Americans, protecting what our Constitution preserves for us.”

At the very least Washington DC might be in for a shock this weekend. Call it shock therapy for the political class. At its best, it could jump-start real American discourse nationwide.

Let the ride begin.

Obama Retreats To Secret Bunker As “Big Event” Draws Near

A truly grim “urgent action bulletin” issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) earlier today states that the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) has received word from “highly placed” sources within the Pentagon that President Barack Obama this past week cancelled his trip to Asia and has retreated with many of his top aides to the mysterious and newly built White House bunker in preparation for what many in the world’s intelligence agencies are calling the “Big Event.”

Important to note are that these GRU sources were notified by their Pentagon counterparts last week that Obama was preparing to invoke the powers given to him under 50 USC Chapter 13 to hold that various American States are now in a “state of insurrection” thus allowing him to invoke the National Emergencies Act under 50 USC § 1621 and invoke the highly controversial “continuity of government” plan for the United States allowing him, in essence, to rule with dictatorial powers.

Equally important to note, this MoFA bulletin says, is that the mysterious White Bunker was completed last September (2012) at a cost of $86 million (US) and had taken over two years to complete and whose purpose remains clouded in secrecy.

Critical to note, this bulletin says, is that Obama quietly last month extended the post-9/11 Declaration of National Emergency thus giving him the power to take over America should he so choose.

Joining Obama in his plan to take over United States, this bulletin continues, are his journalist cohorts (otherwise known as “presstitutes”) who now include America’s top conservative reporters who were summoned yesterday to a secret “off-record” White House meeting with the President.

To what end Obama is ordering his propaganda media allies to prepare the American people for, this bulletin further states, can be gleaned from their recent reporting which includes:

1.) Former US Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Paul Craig Roberts who is advocating that Obama declare a National Emergency and rule as dictator.

2.) US Congress member Sheila Jackson Lee who is advocating that Obama declare Martial Law.

3.) New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman who is advocating that the American people stand with Obama as democracy itself is at stake.

4.) New York Times guest columnist and professor of history at Princeton University Sean Wilentz warning that the Obama regime has neglected to do its utmost to defend the Constitution punish Republicans he said have brought their country to ruin.

5.) Nobel Prize winning economist Paul Krugman advocating that Obama create a Constitutional crisis in order to defy Republican blackmailers.

Of the greatest danger facing the American people, MoFA historical analysts in this bulleting say, is Obama becoming a modern day Abraham Lincoln, who was the 16th President of The United States and who engineered its 1861-1865 Civil War.

Like Obama, Lincoln was elected during one of the most divisive periods of American history with the issue then being over the rights of the individual States versus the central federal government in regards to slavery.

Lincoln, who had proclaimed prior to his becoming President that “eliminating every last black person from American soil would be “a glorious consummation,” and who in his First Inaugural Address stated “I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so,” nevertheless forced his nation into civil war and became the first leader of the United States to suspend its Constitution and rule with dictatorial powers.

Today many Lincoln scholars and Obama supporters, reports the Canadian Free Press, say that Lincoln saved the Constitution by suspending constitutional liberty in the North for the entire duration of his administration. He supposedly “had to destroy constitutional liberty in order to save it.”

Lincoln further regarded the US Constitution as an unnecessary impediment to his political ambitions by exhibiting his total disregard for the law of the land (the law of America’s founders) by launching a military invasion against the South without the consent of the US Congress.

Lincoln suspended habeas corpus and imprisoned thousands without trial for opposing his political policies, censored communications and even imprisoned numerous publishers of newspapers who wrote in opposition of his tactics, confiscated firearms, and as this article warns: “Is any of this beginning to sound familiar?”

So today, this bulletin continues, Obama has become the first President in American history to declare he will not negotiate with his equal counterparts in the US Congress, has ordered Federal workers to “make life as difficult for people as we can,” has suspended all oversight of his massive NSA spying apparatus has the most terrible and feared secret police force since the Cold War, and controls over 120,000 armed Federal agents he can unleash upon his people at a moments notice and that has been described as “equally as powerful as the US military”.

And in its summation, this bulletin warns, with Obama now “secure in his bunker,” threatening priests with arrest if they minister to US soldiers, and US banks stuffing ATMs with 20-30% more cash in case of panicked withdrawals, these GRU warnings of a “Big Event” soon to occur in the United States cannot be dismissed as they may, in fact, point to a complete overturning of America in the coming weeks.

Pentagon warns to expect “Radical” Change in US Government soon

A highly troubling “urgent bulletin” issued earlier today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) states that it has received information from the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) warning to expect a “radical change” in the government of the United States, possibly within the next fortnight, based on information they have received from “highly placed” sources within the Pentagon.

According to this MoFA bulletin, GRU intelligence assests were notified by their Pentagon counterparts this past week that President Barack Obama is preparing to invoke the powers given to him under 50 USC Chapter 13 to hold that various American States are now in a “state of insurrection” thus allowing him to invoke the National Emergencies Act under 50 USC § 1621 and invoke the highly controversial “continuity of government” plan for the United States allowing him, in essence, to rule with supreme powers.

Specifically, this bulletin says, Obama will invoke 50 USC § 212 that states: “ the President shall have declared by proclamation that the laws of the United States are opposed, and the execution thereof obstructed, by combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings”

The specific laws being opposed by these “combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings,” that Obama will outline in his reasoning’s for declaring a state of emergency, this bulletin continues, are the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), otherwise known as Obamacare.

The NDAA is opposed by many US States, this bulletin says, with California joining Alaska and Virginia this past week in passing a law making it illegal to be enforced in their territory, and with many other States, also, preparing to do the same.

The specific portions of the NDAA law being opposed by these US States allows for the indefinite detention without charges or trial of all American citizens and allows for their assassination should Obama order it.

The PPACA (Obamacare) law is, likewise, opposed by over half of the US States and has led to an American “shutdown” this past week that has closed 15% of their government, but has left fully 85% of it still open.

To the specific “combinations too powerful” Obama will cite in his declaration of National Emergency as being needed to be defeated by extraordinary measures, the MoFA says, is a faction of the US House of Representatives popularly known as the Republican Tea Party whom the President and his allies have likened to “hostage takers” and “political terrorists.”

Obama’s greatest fear, and reason(s) for declaring a National State of Emergency, this bulletin continues, was outlined yesterday by his US Treasury Department who released a report yesterday warning of potentially “catastrophic” damage should Congress fail to raise the debt ceiling and prevent the government from defaulting on its debt.

As the current US government shutdown crisis and debt ceiling fight have now merged, the MoFA warns in this bulletin, Obama further warned yesterday that an impasse on the debt ceiling beyond 17 October, when the US government will be essentially out of cash to pay its bills, could start a downward economic plunge worse than the recession of five years ago – with credit markets seizing up, the dollar’s value plummeting and US interest rates soaring and even coming close to the brink of such an unprecedented default that could roil both domestic and foreign financial markets.

Preparing to oppose Obama, should he, in fact, declare a National State of Emergency, the GRU grimly warns, is the US military who themselves are preparing to invoke 50 USC § 842 which allows them to protect America from “The Communist Party of the United States, or any successors of such party regardless of the assumed name, whose object or purpose is to overthrow the Government of the United States, or the government of any State, Territory, District, or possession thereof…”

Not known to many Americans is that the Progressive movement Obama belongs to, and whose media acolyte “presstitutes” swept into office, have long been associated with the Communist Party.

And, as the World Net Daily News Service reported this past August, John C. Drew, Ph.D., the award-winning political scientist, met Obama in 1980 and wrote in 2011: “[Obama] believed that the economic stresses of the Carter years meant revolution was still imminent. The election of Reagan was simply a minor set-back in terms of the coming revolution. … Obama was blindly sticking to the simple Marxist theory … ‘there’s going to be a revolution.’ Obama said, ‘we need to be organized and grow the movement.’ In Obama’s view, our role must be to educate others so that we might usher in more quickly this inevitable revolution.”

With Obama’s “revolution” now at hand, the GRU warns in this bulletin, it is critical to note that that United States, unlike other nations, have all of their elected officials and military personal swear allegiance to the US Constitution, and not to their government or its leaders.

The most recent example of this conflict between Obama and the US military, the GRU further states, was in Egypt when the Obama regime supported Muslim Brotherhood was overthrown by the Pentagon backed Egyptian military, and who, like the United States, makes its political and military leaders swear allegiance to their constitution, not to any of its leaders.

As many in America now know that these present times are not the normal activities of a government seeking peace and prosperity, and as dozens of undisclosed Obama Presidential directives that define US national security policy and task government agencies are still unknown either to the public or, as a rule, to the US Congress, this bulletin warns in its summation that with each passing day American can be more likened to a communist dictatorship than a functioning democracy.

So bad, in fact, has the United States become that one of its legendary reporters, Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh wrote this past week that the Obama administration lies systematically yet none of the leviathans of American media, the TV networks or big print titles, challenge him.

Even worse, and in a further Sovietization of American Life by the Obama regime, the US this past week refused to grant entry visas to internationally renowned authors Ilija Trojanov and Ernst Titovets who were invited to speak at conferences, and which Justin Raimondo of the highly respected Antiwar.com blog calls “part of a disturbing pattern of repression that all points to one ineluctable conclusion: the United States is the Soviet Union of the new millennium – an ideological state with global ambitions that holds itself up as the epitome of “freedom” and yet is the single most powerful enemy of liberty worldwide.”

Treasury officials warn of dangers of default

The Treasury Department released a six-page report on the dangers of default Thursday morning that will be given to members of Congress. “The Potential Macroeconomic Effect of Debt Ceiling Brinkmanship,” is part of a campaign to pressure House Republicans to vote to raise the debt ceiling before the Oct. 17 deadline. (A senior Treasury officials says the partial shutdown of the federal government will not change the Oct. 17 timeline.)

“The United States has never defaulted on its obligations, and the U S. dollar and Treasury securities are at the center of the international financial system,” according to the report. “A default would be unprecedented and has the potential to be catastrophic: credit markets could freeze, the value of the dollar could plummet, U.S. interest rates could skyrocket, the negative spillovers could reverberate around the world, and there might be a financial crisis and recession that could echo the events of 2008 or worse.”

The report says that even the possibility of a default could roil financial markets and damage the economy with sharp declines in household wealth, increases in the cost of financing for businesses and households and a fall in private-sector confidence. It says that if the government shutdown drags on, it could make the U.S. economy even more susceptible to the adverse effects from a debt ceiling impasse than it was prior to the shutdown.

In 2011, according to the senior Treasury officials, just the possibility of potential default led to substantial effects on the U.S. economy. There’s no precedent for default so it’s possible to outline all the consequences, but the official said it would be worse than the 2008 recession.

“As we saw two years ago, prolonged uncertainty over whether our nation will pay its bills in full and on time hurts our economy,” Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew said in a statement. “Postponing a debt ceiling increase to the very last minute is exactly what our economy does not need – a self-inflicted wound harming families and businesses. Our nation has worked hard to recover from the 2008 financial criss, and Congress must act now to lift the debt ceiling before that recovery is put in jeopardy.

Zbigniew Brzezinski is an insider’s insider. He and David Rockefeller co-founded the Trilateral Commission. He served as Jimmy Carter’s National Security Adviser. He may as well have been called Mr. President during the Carter years because he ran the US economy into the ground while undermining American sovereignty during the Carter administration. Many suspect that he also controls Obama. He was, after all, Obama’s Russian Studies professor at Columbia back in the 1980′s. We know that he handpicked Jimmy Carter to become the President and many suspect he had a large hand in grooming Obama for the same job. Brzezinski’s close affiliation with Rockefeller makes him a person of interest when it comes to the subjugation, of not only this country, but of the entire planet. Brzezinski is obviously the globalist’s man on the ground and serves the role as puppet master. Therefore, we would be wise to listen and to take seriously what this New World demagogue has to say because he and his globalist colleagues are beyond hiding their intentions, they are making their move because they know if they don’t move soon, that too many people on the planet will awaken and stop their tyranny in its tracks.

During a speech in Poland, Brzezinski publicly lamented that it has become “increasingly difficult to suppress” and control the “persistent and highly motivated populist resistance of politically awakened and historically resentful peoples.” Brzezinski is clearly referring to us, the people in the alternative media.

Whether you have a large following by hosting your own talk show, or you have a large website where you expose the truth, or you simply write on message boards and also alert your family to the tyranny that has overrun our country, all of us are part of the alternative media. None of us are more important than any other freedom fighter. Look in the mirror, you are the last line of resistance to the planned eugenics take over on this planet and we are damned effective! This is why McCain once introduced legislation to fine bloggers $300,000 for “offensive” comments. This is why McCain sponsored another piece of legislation to give away control of the internet to Verizon and Bell South five years ago. This is why we have seen SOPA and Feinstein’s recent attempt to silence citizen journalists. Now we are hearing that the Trans Pacific Partnership is going to give control of the internet, for its member nations, to a small tribunal and this cannot be challenged in Congress. Although it does not often feel like it, we are winning or the globalists would not be interested in shutting us down.

 

Brzezinski Sounds Like a Scared Despot

Brzezinski’s call of warning to the “global political awakening” has only intensified in recent years. In 2012, Brzezinski also blamed the accessibility of “radio, television and the Internet” for the “universal awakening of mass political consciousness.”  This statement is tantamount to admitting that the globalists are losing.

Brzezinski expressed even more of a sense of globalist dread and panic during a 2010 Council on Foreign Relations speech in Montreal in which he stated that  “the major world powers, new and old, also face a novel reality: while the lethality of their military might is greater than ever, their capacity to impose control over the politically awakened masses of the world is at a historic low. To put it bluntly: in earlier times, it was easier to control one million people than to physically kill one million people; today, it is infinitely easier to kill one million people than to control one million people,” said. There can be no other reasonable interpretation, that this is a direct threat against all who oppose being enslaved and eventually exterminated.

Prominent Journalists Are Taking Notice 

In a December 9, 2012 interview on The Common Sense Show, Jim Marrs discussed how approximately 400-500 top level bankers have left their positions and have gone into seclusion. Marrs reminded my listening audience of how the elite have developed seed vaults which only they have access to. Jim Marrs was clearly alluding to the fact that some very bad events are coming and the global elite are aware of it and are moving to meet the threat.

Prior to the Marrs warning, my insider sources informed me that the same thing is happening in various federal organizations who have recently retired from the CIA, DHS, NSA and FEMA. This fact is indisputable. I have firsthand knowledge of three ex-fed officials and their families who have relocated to safety enclaves when doing so was very disruptive to their respective families. Increasingly, it is looking like some major event(s) is/are coming and persons with insider information are attempting to remove themselves from harm’s way. My primary source, from FEMA, told me that he was relocating to a preplanned destination with like-minded people into enclaves which contain a high degree of preparation which are also designed to survive what is coming.

New Revelations From Old Reliable Sources

It is no secret and it has been revealed to me that we have biological and chemical weapons that the world has never heard of or even imagined. For the powers that be, as one of my insider sources has told me, this kind of attack would constitute the fall back position. One should look at this option of releasing bio or chemical agents as a type of doomsday weapon. I have been told that a release of several agents would be the “parting gift to a people that cannot be controlled.” The professional specialty of one of my sources was in counter-terrorism in relation to a bio weapons attack.

All of my sources agree one point: America has awakened sufficiently to not allow a peaceful transition into an entire technocratic dictatorship. All of the sources believe that something dramatic will be required to force the compliance of the masses. The coming event(s) must be so horrific, so devastating, that most will be frightened into compliance into the New World Order of things (i.e. martial law). All sources place the nuclear option as the most likely scenario. It was widely reported in multiple locations that a base in West Texas conducted an unauthorized Nuke transfer. There was no signature required for the transfer and it was totally off the books, thus, making this a black ops activity. On that same day, Senator Lindsay Graham (SC), stated that if we did not immediately go to war with Syria, that Charleston Harbor would be nuked. On the surface, Graham’s words sound like they come from a raving lunatic. However, many of us are wondering what does Graham know about what is really coming?

The Globalists Need a TET Offensive to Regain Control

Everyone agrees that the main threats to America are tied to nuclear detonations, chemical/biological attacks on several shopping centers and the introduction of psychotronic weapons on a mass scale preceded by a devastating blackout. So many of you are wondering what kind of attack will be used to facilitate the roll out of total martial law and will serve to scare the sheep so badly that they will acquiesce to anyone who promises to take care of them? The answer lies in understanding our military history as it relates to dealing with a desperate adversary. The adversary in this case are the globalists who feel that they have lost control of the public that Brzezinski has addressed.The last time we faced a determined and desperate adversary was in Vietnam.

In 1968, the North Vietnamese forces were devastated and were on the verge of defeat. North Vietnamese General, Giap, decided to invoke a Sun Tzu strategy consisting of attacking America where it was the weakest, on the home-front. Giap designed a series of attacks on dozens of strategic locations including the American embassy in Saigon. Giap knew that his planned attacks would eventually meet with failure. However, if he could demonstrate to the American people that President Johnson was lying about being close to victory, he could turn the tide of the war. This TET Offensive, as it was called, could be and eventually was the turning point in the war. From the list of disaster drills FEMA and DHS are planning for, it is likely that we will be attacked using multiple weapons systems. Along this line of reasoning, America is not going to buy a singular false flag event. In fact, if 9/11 were to happen today, over half the country would be looking for the real story. From the intelligence information that I have been receiving for nearly a year, I believe that globalists are going to launch a massive type of TET Offensive upon America which will scare the masses into compliance. This modern day version of the TET Offensive will likely be preceded by a massive blackout and quickly followed with a number of terrorist incidences, each more horrific than the previous one. One of the departing ex-intel families told me to watch the then new TV series, Revolution, as there will be a massive blackout designed to immobilize people and to make the people dependent upon the government for survival. In such a scenario, hungry and scared people will be rioting by the third day and Kissinger once stated that someday we would be begging for the troops of the UN to come in and restore order.

As bad as things will get from a blackout, it will only prove to be the catalyst event. When the blackout occurs and an unprepared public begins to starve and being in fear of their lives from the marauding gangs going house to house in search of resources, the people will be forced to go to government relocation centers to seek food and shelter and safety from the rioting masses. Interestingly, as I wrote about over a year ago, Simon Properties, the biggest owners of malls in North America signed an agreement with DHS to allow their malls to be used for emergency relocation centers. On the heels of this agreement, the NFL, the NBA and the NHL and Major League Baseball offered up their arenas and stadiums to DHS for the same purpose as did Simon Properties. This will lead to a massive population shift to public venues and this will save the powers that be the arduous task of rounding up the masses, although this will go on and will be carried out by foreign troops who will not hesitate to fire on American citizens.

I have also been told that the rioting will intensify because of the use of pychotronic warfare. Many of the people are going to be electronically agitated and this will intensify the rioting. Many people will angrily strike out due to direct electronic attacks upon the emotional centers of the brain, the limbic system. The delivery agents would be HAARP, the GWEN towers and the smart meters.

The technology to hyper-stimulate a human being’s emotional state has existed since the 1960′s beginning with the work of Jose Delgado, a Spanish physiologist, who eventually went to work at the Stanford Research Institute and helped to develop the now infamous MKULTRA program. On my show last Sunday night, I covered the fact that a number of universities are presently involved in mind control research at places such as San Diego State University, Western Kentucky University, Arizona State University, the University of Arizona, the University of California at Davis and the list goes on and on. The purpose of such an electronic attack would be to agitate the general public through a state of electromagnetic irritation thus promoting even more civil unrest leading people to seek public shelter under the protection of armed troops. How well did that work at the Superdome in Louisiana following Katrina?

If a prolonged blackout is in effect these supplies would be needed.

This speaks to a poisoning of the water supply which could follow a pandemic release or a nuclear detonation making ground water unfit to drink.

The above speaks to the widespread nature of the attacks and is highly suggestive of multiple attacks.

US govt shuts down for 1st time in 17 years as budget talks fail

The US federal government is partially shutting down after the Congress failed to fund its work amid a Republican drive to defund the Obamacare healthcare program. President Obama addressed to US troops to boost their confidence amid the crisis.

The Congress left the government without funding as competing spending measures bounced back and forth between the Republican-controlled House of Representatives and Democratic-led Senate late into Monday night.

The partial shutdown will leave some essential government functions, including national security and public safety, intact. It’s not clear how long the situation will continue, with lawmakers expected to take a further vote in a matter of hours.

If the shutdown persists, it will affect an estimated 800,000 of public workers, who will be forced into unpaid leave as the government would be unable to fund their employment. National parks and most federal offices are closed, as is almost all of NASA, except for Mission Control in Houston.

The shutdown also affects the Smithsonian museums and the National Zoo, going as far as shutting off the zoo’s popular ‘panda cam’. The website of the US Department of Agriculture went blank on Tuesday, leaving only a warning that it’s not available due to the lapse in federal government funding.

The crisis would initially cost the US economy at least $300 million a day in lost economic output, says Bloomberg citing IHS Inc., a Massachusetts-based economic forecast company.

President Barack Obama assumed his role as commander-in-chief to address US troops around the world. He said the Congress had failed American soldiers in causing the government shutdown. He pledged that the White House will do everything possible to keep those troops currently on active duty to receive all they need in order to perform that duty.

The budgetary breakdown raised fresh concerns about whether lawmakers can meet a crucial mid-October deadline to raise the government’s $16.7 trillion debt ceiling.

Gerald Celente, publisher of the Trends journal, says the current crisis is “more theatrics than anything else,” as was the case with previous cases of US political gridlocks.

“Go back to 2011. What we kept hearing about was ‘going over the fiscal cliff!’ They talked about it so much that Standard & Poor’s downgraded the US credit worthiness. And then we had sequestering. And next month we are going to have the debt ceiling,” he told RT. “It’s the Washington drama queens doing what they always do – behave in a manner that is unbecoming of professionals and adults.”

Political commentator Brian Fox also dismissed the shutdown, telling RT that it would have no long-term consequences on the real big issues.

“The government has been shut down 17 times, I believe, since 1977. We can look back now and see the same sort of political opportunism and grandstanding every time with different variations,” he said.

The partial shutdown on Tuesday is the first for the US government in 17 years. It comes after Congress missed the Monday midnight deadline for passing a federal budget.

As a condition for keeping the government funded, Republicans were demanding a one-year delay in making millions of people buy health insurance under the Obama administration’s 2010 healthcare law. The attack on White House’s key political measure was spearheaded by the Republican conservatives from the Tea Party, culminating a three-year growth of polarization in America.

The Senate twice rejected the proposed provisions, while Obama said he would veto the House-backed legislation.

The Congress deadlock has driven the legislature’s approval rating down to a record low 10 percent, according to a new CNN/ORC International Poll. President Obama’s approval is down to 44 percent.

According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll on who is responsible for the crisis, most Americans, 44 percent, believe it’s everyone involved. Another 25 percent blame Republicans, while 14 percent blame Obama and 5 percent blame Democrats in Congress.

As the shutdown loomed Monday, visitors to popular parks made their frustration with elected officials clear.

“There is no good thing going to come out of it,” Chris Fahl, a tourist, told AP as he was touring the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park in Kentucky. “Taxpayers are just going to be more overburdened.”

“They should be willing to compromise, both sides, and it discourages me that they don’t seem to be able to do that,” said Emily Enfinger, a visitor to the Statue of Liberty. “They’re not doing their job as far as I’m concerned.”

The crisis appears to be strangely captivating for some foreigners.

“We can’t imagine not having a national health system,” said Marlena Knight, an Australian native visiting Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia. “I just can’t believe that this country can shut down over something like a national health system. Totally bizarre, as an Australian, but fascinating.”

Planetary Situation Update from Cobra: The New Financial System

There is a lot of confusion about the collateral accounts, even among people working behind the scenes. Let us clear that confusion.

Collateral accounts were a creation of the Cabal after WW1 when they persuaded many nations to give up their gold into their custody with an excuse that a gold-backed financial system with strong independent national banks creates geopolitical instability and can lead into wars like WW1. Bank of International Settlements (BIS) was created for that reason in 1930. After the creation of BIS, the Cabal went to China and persuaded the Chinese (sometimes gently and sometimes not so gently) to give up their gold in exchange for phony bonds.The Cabal never had any intention to repay these bonds back. The next phase of their operations was to steal the rest of the Eastern gold through the operation Golden Lily and then bury their lot in Philippines (Yamashita gold) and in Indonesia.

This gold was used to underwrite the western financial system under Bretton Woods agreement. The Cabal controlled the apparently fiat financial system which was visible and hid the shadow banking system which was created by putting large sums of money into central banking trading programs, using the hidden gold to back up their investment. Those programs soon generated astronomical sums of virtual money which could not be taken out of the banks as it was part of the shadow banking system (for example White Spiritual Boy account with all its virtual quadrillions of dollars) and only very small part of it was taken out through money laundering operations. Nobody who was not tied to Cabal was ever allowed close to those prosperity programs and even a small fraction of the programs that tried to include non-Cabal oriented people were soon seized or shot down by the Cabal.

The Cabal was steadily using the gold they have stolen to finance the construction of their underground military bases and their secret space program between 1953 and 2004.
 

In February 2012, the Resistance Movement removed all that gold from the hands of the Cabal. This is the reason Fulford can not find real proof of any current gold vaults anywhere in Asia. That removal of gold was a brilliant move. From then on we are having a real fiat financial system on the surface on the planet. That kind of financial system is very unstable and the Cabal has to be very careful with their financial machinations. For the first time in human history the financial system in not underwritten by gold.  This creates a dynamic tension which speeds up the Event because such financial system can not exist for a very long time and would eventually collapse on its own due to lack of trust and lack of real foundation and that would be the last possible moment for the Event.

Now the Cabal tries to underwrite their unstable financial system with worldwide real estate grab and this is the reason for so many foreclosures of homes.

There is a lot of misunderstanding about the bonds the Cabal was issuing since the 1930s. These bonds can be never repaid back since the Cabal does not have the gold they stole throughout the ages from humanity anymore. They are also very short on liquid cash and that little they have is far from enough to repay even a small fraction of those bonds.
The purpose of these bonds is not to extract value from the Cabal but to use them as a tool to enforce the bankruptcy of their corrupt financial system when the time is right.

Historical owners of all that gold and bonds that represent it are not the Chinese, nor Keenan, nor White Dragons Society, nor anybody appointed M1 (monetary controller). The institute of M1 is a creation of the Cabal. The owner and true heir is humanity as a whole and after the Event the collateral accounts will be transferred to humanity in total.

After the Event the Resistance will return the gold to humanity and it will be stored on the surface of the planet to underwrite the new financial system. Therefore that gold will not be traded in open market, whereas gold in private ownership will be traded and exchanged freely.

This structuring of the new financial system is one part of a secret agreement which was made between 57 members of the Eastern Alliance in the Monaco Accords meeting in August 2011.

No new M1 will be appointed. No member of the Cabal will be allowed anywhere close to the collateral accounts, let alone the new Jesuit pope, and most of those people will be arrested anyway.

Various groups that are working to liberate the financial system from the hands of the Cabal (White Dragons, Keenan, OPPT) will have advisory role and a council of government officials democratically elected after the Event will be the trustees of the collateral accounts. The whole system will be completely transparent and this transparency will be supervised by the Resistance Movement.

Currency Revaluation (Iraqi Dinar, Vietnamese Vong) will have a minor role in the reset of the financial system as this is a transition into a true gold backed system under the supervision of the Light forces and NOT a speculative revaluation of currencies.

This new financial system will be only a temporary solution as true cashless society will be created on the surface of this planet after the First Contact, backed up by advanced spiritual technologies of the Galactic Confederation. This cashless society will recognize true value of incarnated human souls and will provide them with physical and spiritual abundance.

Many people are wondering why the Event does not happen already. It is because all etheric negative entities must be removed before that in order for the key members of the Event operation teams on the surface of the planet to work harmoniously. It is true that statistical mean value for the expected number of casualties at the time of the Event is around 100,000 people. But if anything goes wrong among the key people of the surface population coordinating the Event operations, it could  be much higher and easily reach tens of millions of people and that is something the Light forces are not willing to risk. We have seen so many instances when so-called light workers or light warriors manifested intolerable behavior because they were under the influence of the etheric Archons. You might remember the French Revolution. It started so well and you know how it ended.

The Event will happen when it will happen. Until it happens, let us do everything that is within our power to make it happen as son as possible in a harmonious way. It is important for the Light forces on the surface of the planet to unite, communicate, coordinate intel and align strategies.

All across America, Wall Street is grabbing money meant for public workers

In the final months of 2011, almost two years before the city of Detroit would shock America by declaring bankruptcy in the face of what it claimed were insurmountable pension costs, the state of Rhode Island took bold action to avert what it called its own looming pension crisis. Led by its newly elected treasurer, Gina Raimondo – an ostentatiously ambitious 42-year-old Rhodes scholar and former venture capitalist – the state declared war on public pensions, ramming through an ingenious new law slashing benefits of state employees with a speed and ferocity seldom before seen by any local government.

Detroit’s Debt Crisis: Everything Must Go

Called the Rhode Island Retirement Security Act of 2011, her plan would later be hailed as the most comprehensive pension reform ever implemented. The rap was so convincing at first that the overwhelmed local burghers of her little petri-dish state didn’t even know how to react. “She’s Yale, Harvard, Oxford – she worked on Wall Street,” says Paul Doughty, the current president of the Providence firefighters union. “Nobody wanted to be the first to raise his hand and admit he didn’t know what the fuck she was talking about.”

Soon she was being talked about as a probable candidate for Rhode Island’s 2014 gubernatorial race. By 2013, Raimondo had raised more than $2 million, a staggering sum for a still-undeclared candidate in a thimble-size state. Donors from Wall Street firms like Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital and JPMorgan Chase showered her with money, with more than $247,000 coming from New York contributors alone. A shadowy organization called EngageRI, a public-advocacy group of the 501(c)4 type whose donors were shielded from public scrutiny by the infamous Citizens United decision, spent $740,000 promoting Raimondo’s ideas. Within Rhode Island, there began to be whispers that Raimondo had her sights on the presidency. Even former Obama right hand and Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel pointed to Rhode Island as an example to be followed in curing pension woes.

What few people knew at the time was that Raimondo’s “tool kit” wasn’t just meant for local consumption. The dynamic young Rhodes scholar was allowing her state to be used as a test case for the rest of the country, at the behest of powerful out-of-state financiers with dreams of pushing pension reform down the throats of taxpayers and public workers from coast to coast. One of her key supporters was billionaire former Enron executive John Arnold – a dickishly ubiquitous young right-wing kingmaker with clear designs on becoming the next generation’s Koch brothers, and who for years had been funding a nationwide campaign to slash benefits for public workers.

Nor did anyone know that part of Raimondo’s strategy for saving money involved handing more than $1 billion – 14 percent of the state fund – to hedge funds, including a trio of well-known New York-based funds: Dan Loeb’s Third Point Capital was given $66 million, Ken Garschina’s Mason Capital got $64 million and $70 million went to Paul Singer’s Elliott Management. The funds now stood collectively to be paid tens of millions in fees every single year by the already overburdened taxpayers of her ostensibly flat-broke state. Felicitously, Loeb, Garschina and Singer serve on the board of the Manhattan Institute, a prominent conservative think tank with a history of supporting benefit-slashing reforms. The institute named Raimondo its 2011 “Urban Innovator” of the year.

The state’s workers, in other words, were being forced to subsidize their own political disenfranchisement, coughing up at least $200 million to members of a group that had supported anti-labor laws. Later, when Edward Siedle, a former SEC lawyer, asked Raimondo in a column for Forbes.com how much the state was paying in fees to these hedge funds, she first claimed she didn’t know. Raimondo later told the Providence Journal she was contractually obliged to defer to hedge funds on the release of “proprietary” information, which immediately prompted a letter in protest from a series of freaked-out interest groups. Under pressure, the state later released some fee information, but the information was originally kept hidden, even from the workers themselves. “When I asked, I was basically hammered,” says Marcia Reback, a former sixth-grade schoolteacher and retired Providence Teachers Union president who serves as the lone union rep on Rhode Island’s nine-member State Investment Commission. “I couldn’t get any information about the actual costs.”

This is the third act in an improbable triple-fucking of ordinary people that Wall Street is seeking to pull off as a shocker epilogue to the crisis era. Five years ago this fall, an epidemic of fraud and thievery in the financial-services industry triggered the collapse of our economy. The resultant loss of tax revenue plunged states everywhere into spiraling fiscal crises, and local governments suffered huge losses in their retirement portfolios – remember, these public pension funds were some of the most frequently targeted suckers upon whom Wall Street dumped its fraud-riddled mortgage-backed securities in the pre-crash years.

Today, the same Wall Street crowd that caused the crash is not merely rolling in money again but aggressively counterattacking on the public-relations front. The battle increasingly centers around public funds like state and municipal pensions. This war isn’t just about money. Crucially, in ways invisible to most Americans, it’s also about blame. In state after state, politicians are following the Rhode Island playbook, using scare tactics and lavishly funded PR campaigns to cast teachers, firefighters and cops – not bankers – as the budget-devouring boogeymen responsible for the mounting fiscal problems of America’s states and cities.

Secrets and Lies of the Bailout

Not only did these middle-class workers already lose huge chunks of retirement money to huckster financiers in the crash, and not only are they now being asked to take the long-term hit for those years of greed and speculative excess, but in many cases they’re also being forced to sit by and watch helplessly as Gordon Gekko wanna-be’s like Loeb or scorched-earth takeover artists like Bain Capital are put in charge of their retirement savings.

“Truckers To Shut Down America” Update…Canada Joins USA…Number Tops 70,000

UPDATE… MONDAY MORNING September 23, 2013. It would appear that Facebook has taken down the “Truckers to Shut Down America” page. Last night there were 81,000 likes the last time I checked. Do not worry. I am writing an update as we speak. They have a new website.

If you look at the original post below you can see the carnage of what has happened. There were originally around 20 Facebook status updates pasted into this article. They are now all gone. I have finished an update and it can be found here.

What a difference a few days can make. Wow! Three days ago I wrote a story about a group of truckers who were vowing to launch a national strike from October 11th through October 13th. At that time there were less than 20,000 likes on their Facebook Page which can be found here. As of now there are over 71,000 and growing.

The first exciting development is that a group of Canadian truckers has joined the movement. They are just getting started so if you have Canadian friends please share this with them as a show of solidarity.

There is also a page set up now where us “non-truckers” can donate fuel to those who will be rolling into D.C. on our behalf.

Freedom Outpost’s Suzanne Hamner was one of the first to break this story and gave her own series of updates on Friday:

Three days after I wrote about the march, the site has garnered over 67,000 likes and new developments have arisen that could only have happened due to the overwhelming support for our hard working truck driving friends.

Many Americans are supporting the 18 wheel drivers rolling to DC by pledging to boycott those three days by staying home and avoiding all money transactions for those days. But, individuals are not the only ones who have come out in support of this endeavor. A few members with Indiana Overpass for Obama’s Impeachment are offering to pay for hotel rooms and a meal or two for the truckers.

A truck stop in Baton Rouge, LA is offering 50 gallons of free fuel to the first 20 truckers that come by their establishment with pictures showing their rig in DC during those three days.

There has even been a post from a man in Germany, written in German, supporting the million trucker march to DC.

Truck drivers are posting pictures of themselves with their trucks and indicating whether they will shut down and stay home or shut down for the drive to DC.

Pictures? Did Suzanne say pictures? Why don’t you look for yourself my friends. I think it is much more gratifying to see evidence than to simply read about it. I have posted a number of status updates below from the Truckers to Shut Down America Facebook Page. I do want to mention one thing that you may not realize. Under many of these statuses you will see comments from other truckers announcing that they will be standing in solidarity. You might want to pick a random status or two just to see what is going on.

I might have gone a bit overboard with the number I posted here but I wanted to prove that this thing is already guaranteed to be bigger than the 1 Million Muslim March. Enjoy my friends!
