Political Persecution of Canadian activist Steve Finney in Ontario court to be investigated by International Human Rights Observers – Finney may be named as a Prisoner of Conscience and Political Prisoner

Brussels:

Steve Finney, the unlawfully jailed Canadian leader of the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS), was told yesterday by a Kitchener, Ontario court judge that he won’t be released on bail unless he disassociates himself from the Tribunal.

Ontario Court of Justice magistrate Michael Cuthbertson informed Finney through Duty Counsel Dave Woodbeck that no-one associated with the ITCCS would be allowed to post bail for him, and neither should Finney himself remain active with the ITCCS if he wished to “avoid another thirty days in jail”.

Steve Finney still faces no charges after his sudden arrest Sunday morning, the day after he spoke on international radio about his work to expose child trafficking in Kitchener involving government and police officials. Finney has been severely beaten by Kitchener police, assaulted and denied any contact or communication with anyone while in prison.

In response to such flagrant political persecution, the ITCCS and its United Nations affiliates have dispatched two accredited human rights observers to Kitchener to attend the Wednesday, October 2 bail hearing of Steve Finney.

“We were shocked to learn that one of the conditions for Mr. Finney’s release on bail is that he disaffiliate himself from any involvement in our Tribunal” said ITCCS legal advisor George Dufort today in Brussels.

“Such a bail condition is certainly not lawful and violates all of the accepted norms of due process. We are appalled that such overt political persecution can go on within Canadian courts. If this is indeed the case, we will be pressing for sanctions and legal action against the government of Ontario and its Attorney General, John Gerretsen; and we will be urging Amnesty International and others to adopt Steve Finney as a Prisoner of Conscience and a recognized political prisoner in Canada.”

Supporters of Steve Finney, including his own wife Amy Smart, were physically barred from the courtroom in which Finney appeared yesterday. If he is denied bail, he will remain unlawfully incarcerated at Maplehurst prison in Milton, Ontario for at least thirty more days.

ITCCS UPDATE Breaking News Update: Monday, September 30, 2013, 1:00 pm EST
ITCCS leader Steve Finney assaulted and bloodied by Kitchener Ontario police, jailed illegally without charges
Kitchener, Ontario CANADA:
After being illegally arrested yesterday without being charged with anything, political prisoner Steve Finney, a leader of the ITCCS and Common Law movement in Canada and a declared citizen of the fledgling Republic of Kanata, was assaulted by Kitchener police this morning and appeared bruised and bloodied in a Kitchener courtroom. Steve was ordered to be detained another day until a bail hearing is held tomorrow.

“His right cheek is all bruised and bleeding, there’s blood all over his face, and there’s a big bruise under his nose that has blood on it” described his wife Amy Smart.

“I asked him who did it and he pointed to one of the uniformed cops in the courtroom”.

Steve and Amy have been outspoken critics of the Childrens’ Aid Society (CAS) and the police of the Kitchener-Waterloo area for their involvement in trafficking local children. The couple have picketed local CAS offices and called on residents to ignore the “false jurisdiction of crown courts”. In response, CAS officials have seized their five year old daughter Amber.

Both Steve and Amy are declared citizens of the Republic of Kanata.

“We need everybody to come down here tomorrow to the courthouse to see what’s happening” said Amy in a telephone interview this morning.

“This is a police state. Steve’s name wasn’t even listed on the court register this morning when he appeared, and they still aren’t charging him with anything. They wouldn’t allow a bail hearing today even when Steve asked for one because he has a job to go to. They’re trying to destroy us for our beliefs and ’cause we know what they’re doing to our children. But we won’t ever give up.”

The Kitchener ITCCS and local Republic of Kanata chapter have called a media conference for 9 am tomorrow, Tuesday October 1, along with a public protest, outside the Kitchener-Waterloo Criminal Courthouse. The address is 85 Frederick street in Kitchener, Ontario.

Come and rally to defend this targeted family, and an innocent man: brave defenders of liberty and our children. Don’t let them crush us one by one!

“Truckers To Shut Down America” Update…Canada Joins USA…Number Tops 70,000

Convoyof Truck_convoy08

UPDATE… MONDAY MORNING September 23, 2013. It would appear that Facebook has taken down the “Truckers to Shut Down America” page. Last night there were 81,000 likes the last time I checked. Do not worry. I am writing an update as we speak. They have a new website.

If you look at the original post below you can see the carnage of what has happened. There were originally around 20 Facebook status updates pasted into this article. They are now all gone. I have finished an update and it can be found here.

***Original article below. Notice that all facebook status updates are gone. The page has been taken down by either Facebook or the administrators.***

What a difference a few days can make. Wow! Three days ago I wrote a story about a group of truckers who were vowing to launch a national strike from October 11th through October 13th. At that time there were less than 20,000 likes on their Facebook Page which can be found here. As of now there are over 71,000 and growing.

The first exciting development is that a group of Canadian truckers has joined the movement. They are just getting started so if you have Canadian friends please share this with them as a show of solidarity.

There is also a page set up now where us “non-truckers” can donate fuel to those who will be rolling into D.C. on our behalf.

Freedom Outpost’s Suzanne Hamner was one of the first to break this story and gave her own series of updates on Friday:

Three days after I wrote about the march, the site has garnered over 67,000 likes and new developments have arisen that could only have happened due to the overwhelming support for our hard working truck driving friends.

Many Americans are supporting the 18 wheel drivers rolling to DC by pledging to boycott those three days by staying home and avoiding all money transactions for those days. But, individuals are not the only ones who have come out in support of this endeavor. A few members with Indiana Overpass for Obama’s Impeachment are offering to pay for hotel rooms and a meal or two for the truckers.

A truck stop in Baton Rouge, LA is offering 50 gallons of free fuel to the first 20 truckers that come by their establishment with pictures showing their rig in DC during those three days.

There has even been a post from a man in Germany, written in German, supporting the million trucker march to DC.

Truck drivers are posting pictures of themselves with their trucks and indicating whether they will shut down and stay home or shut down for the drive to DC.

Pictures? Did Suzanne say pictures? Why don’t you look for yourself my friends. I think it is much more gratifying to see evidence than to simply read about it. I have posted a number of status updates below from the Truckers to Shut Down America Facebook Page. I do want to mention one thing that you may not realize. Under many of these statuses you will see comments from other truckers announcing that they will be standing in solidarity. You might want to pick a random status or two just to see what is going on.

I might have gone a bit overboard with the number I posted here but I wanted to prove that this thing is already guaranteed to be bigger than the 1 Million Muslim March. Enjoy my friends! icon smile Truckers To Shut Down America Update...Canada Joins USA...Number Tops 70,000

‘Sovereign citizen’ movement worrying officials as 30,000 claim they ‘freed’ themselves from Canada’s laws

Brian Alexander

http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/09/02/sovereign-citizen-movement-worrying-officials-as-30000-claim-they-freed-themselves-from-canadas-laws/

He introduces himself as “Brian Arthur of the Alexander family,” and before he’ll answer any questions, he asks a reporter to declare that she is not a government employee.
He drives without a licence and does not pay income tax.
Brian Alexander is a self-proclaimed Freeman-on-the-Land and one of a growing number of Canadian followers of the so-called “sovereign citizen” or “Natural Persons” movement.
Adherents have “freed” themselves from what they see as an overbearing government that has overstepped its bounds.
“People can’t afford to live and they’re basically destroying society, in our view,” Alexander says during a lengthy interview at his home in Kamloops, B.C.

People can’t afford to live and they’re destroying society
“They’ve created it themselves. Most of us are peaceful. We paid our taxes, we love our country and all that but when they start pushing at you, you tend to start asking questions and that’s where this whole movement comes from.”
Alexander says violence is not advocated and has no place in the movement, but one official who has followed the rise of the sovereign citizen movement in Canada says there have been a number of confrontations in B.C. and elsewhere during routine traffic stops or legal proceedings.
“We’ve seen that escalation already,” says Ron Usher, of the Society of B.C. Notaries.
Notaries have found themselves embroiled as many Freeman attach inexplicable importance to having notaries authorize documents the Freeman have invented to declare their status.
“What we’ve seen over the last year is an increasing level of frustration, an increasing level of desperation. People just don’t like the idea that someone isn’t going to help them with their fantasy,” Usher says, noting the society discourages its members from signing the “nonsensical” legal documents.
“They’re very confrontational. We’ve had a number of instances now where they’ve needed to call police or security,” Usher says.
There have been a number of “hard take-downs” by police in B.C. involving Freemen who refuse to have a driver’s licence and, sometimes, automobile insurance.
The Law Society of B.C. and B.C. Notaries have both issued warnings about Freemen, which the law society said in a bulletin last year may number as many as 30,000 in Canada.
“Since one of the tenets of the Freeman-on-the-Land movement is an unrestricted right to possess and use firearms, they raise significant safety and security concerns,” says the bulletin, which advises lawyers who come across Freemen to take appropriate security measures.
RCMP and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police officers are currently developing awareness materials for frontline officers, and the movement is the subject of upcoming policing seminars in Vancouver and Toronto.
“The RCMP is aware of the Freeman-on-the-Land ideology and the interaction that some police jurisdictions have had with individuals who follow this movement. Additionally, in the recent years, the RCMP has received correspondence directly from followers of this movement,” RCMP spokeswoman Julie Gagnon says in an email.
“Individuals associated to this movement are a concern because some followers advocate violence to promote their views and this may involve violence toward police officers. There are officer safety concerns when dealing with followers of this movement during routine police interaction.”
To paint all Freemen as terrorists, it would be the same as painting all Frenchmen FLQ or all Germans Nazis
There’s no indication that they pose a threat to the general public, Gagnon says.
In the United States, the FBI considers the movement a domestic terror threat, and a 2011 FBI report cites several cases where followers have clashed with law enforcement, including the 2010 shootings of two Arkansas officers during a routine traffic stop.
“Although the sovereign-citizen movement does not always rise to violence, its members’ illegal activities and past violent _ including fatal — incidents against law enforcement make it a group that should be approached with knowledge and caution,” it says.
And it warns the movement will likely grow, fuelled by the recent economic downturn and the popularity of seminars being held across the country.
If there is a guru of the Freeman movement in Canada these days it’s a man named Dean Clifford from Manitoba. In June, about 80 people paid to hear Clifford spread the sovereign gospel at a seminar in Victoria and tickets are now available on his website to another scheduled for Toronto this November.
Alexander, 43, has become a pseudo-spokesman in B.C. after running — ironically — for provincial and municipal office under the Freeman banner.
A self-employed father of a teenaged boy, he speaks emotionally about the plight soldiers have faced upon their return from Afghanistan and with frustration about the degradation of the environment. And he appears to genuinely disagree with the use of violence or threats in the name of the cause.
“Yes, there has been the odd person here and there that has actually fought back and done some stupid things, but those are individuals. And to paint all Freemen as terrorists, it would be the same as painting all Frenchmen FLQ or all Germans Nazis. It’s kind of ridiculous,” he says.
It appeals to the angry male whose life isn’t working out
While in the United States the movement has a large following on the far right and among white supremacists, in Canada it has found sympathizers among First Nations, in B.C. in particular, where some have come together under the banner of the “Sovereign Squamish Government.”
The Squamish group claims to distribute its own licence plates and one Ontario Freeman is recruiting his own police force with an online video appeal for the Canadian Common Corps of Peace Officers.
The sovereign citizen’s campaign in Canada, however, focuses on the courts, and a quick search of court documents involving Freemen reveals a litany of cases from the East Coast to the West, ranging from the bizarre to the criminal.
Police officers, Crown lawyers and judges have been sued or been named in multimillion-dollar “liens” or “ecclesiastical notices” or other legal manoeuvres.
Dozens of sovereign citizens have found themselves in front of a judge facing tax evasion, contempt or criminal charges.
Last month, Warren Fischer, a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine in Nelson, B.C., broke down in tears in court after being convicted of tax evasion.
An adherent to Freeman philosophies and a member of the Sovereign Squamish Nation, Fischer refused for several years to pay income tax, saying he did not want his taxes to support the war overseas. He will be sentenced in October.
Last year Daren Wayne McCormick was convicted in a Nova Scotia court of uttering threats toward officers and sentenced to just over three years in a federal prison when a judge disagreed with his argument that he’d freed himself of the Criminal Code and federal gun laws.
“It appeals to the angry male whose life isn’t working out very well,” says Usher. “You get this spiral of legal mess that the only person that’s benefited is the person who’s taken their money for the seminar teaching them how to do all this.
“It looks like desperate people spending their last nickel on bad advice.”

The only independently documented evidence of crimes by Canadian church and state is presented on a four-set DVD collection

The evidence that was used to indict those responsible for the deaths of more than 50,000 aboriginal children in the Indian residential school system has been compiled in a four hour video presentation by The International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS).

This exclusive DVD collection contains more than 150 exhibits, including original documents and eyewitness testimonies, that were featured in the International Common Law Court of Justice case that successfully prosecuted church and state leaders for crimes against humanity. (www.itccs.org/ICLCJ)

This unique collection is a priceless historic record of the truth that Canada and its churches, the Vatican and the Crown of England are still trying to bury – and a means to educate coming generations about Canada’s hidden history, and the ongoing effect of a genocidal legacy.

As an added bonus, the Genocide in Canada DVD collection also includes the award-winning documentary film by Kevin Annett, Unrepentant, (2007), which opened the lid on the Canadian Holocaust and prompted the 2008 Canadian government “apology” for Indian residential schools.

This collection is a must for all public educators, librarians and scholars, as well as the general public, social workers and legislators.

The entire four set collection is available for only $25 for individuals, $50 for non profit and educational bodies, and $75 for other institutions.
Here’s how to order:

1. Pay directly through paypal at www.itccs.org .

Huge child-porn ring smashed in South Africa

http://http://www.timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2013/08/21/huge-child-porn-ring-smashed

Arrested+xgold

Police have cracked what is believed to be South Africa’s biggest child pornography ring – with links to Canada, the UK, the US, western Europe and Australasia – after the arrest of six people.

A school principal (who is also an award-winning author), two teachers, a lawyer, a dermatologist and businessmen from across the country were arrested in a multi-pronged operation coinciding with arrests overseas.

Police are investigating a further 26 people and more arrests are imminent.

Laid bare in police investigations is the alleged sordid sexual exploitation of what is believed to be hundreds of children.

In an operation experienced detectives described as “sickening”, children as young as five are believed to have been groomed to have sex with each other and adults.

The images are believed to have been generated overseas and the police, with the help of their international counterparts, are now investigating whether any children from South Africa are involved in the ring’s operations.

Some of the details of the alleged pornography are too graphic to publish, with many of the children suffering extreme forms of violence. Police overseas are investigating whether any of the children were murdered. Those close to the investigation told The Times that South African police were tipped off by a foreign policing agency, through Interpol, after dozens of computers were seized in raids. International police discovered the addresses of hundreds of alleged paedophiles from around the world.

Experienced local officers from various units were last week pulled off their cases to form a high-profile task team.

Overseen by national detective head Lieutenant-General Vinesh Munoo, the team – including the Gauteng family violence, child protection and sexual offences unit and cybercrime investigators – has secured warrants to search homes, schools, legal and medical practices and businesses.

On Thursday, police arrested the principal of an elite private primary school in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga; a teacher in Florida, west of Johannesburg, a teacher in Carletonville, a Pretoria dermatologist; and a senior legal officer in North West.

In follow-up raids at the weekend, officers stormed dozens of homes in KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Western Cape and Free State, seizing computers, DVDs, books, magazines, computer memory sticks, cameras, video cameras and other digital recording devices.

A source with insight into the investigation said the first to be arrested was the school principal, who was arrested at his White River home.

Pupils attending the prestigious English school are from business, game farm, legal and aviation families. In a recent letter from the school, parents are informed that the principal has been dismissed with immediate effect.

“The agreement follows his arrest for allegedly being in possession of child pornography,” it says.

The 43-year-old man – who was released on R1000 bail after appearing in court – was found in possession of DVDs containing alleged child pornography images.

Electronic devices including laptops belonging to the man, who won a national literature prize for a murder mystery novel involving a 16-year-old boy, were seized.

A Nelspruit court official said the man was due to appear in court again in September on charges of possession of child porn.

Attorney Coert Jordaan, representing the headmaster, said: “I will not grace you with a comment.”

A lawyer with knowledge of the case said the police had “a good case with solid evidence . it is going to be difficult for these guys to get away . even with the claim that they downloaded the child pornography by accident.”

A policeman said that several of those arrested had been found with images of children being abused. Police are investigating what has become of these children.

“They appear to be linked to teachers although whether they are from the schools the teachers work at is unknown.”

Police spokesman Lieutenant-General Solomon Makgale said all those arrested were men.

“The arrested include two teachers from Florida and Carletonville, a headmaster from Nelspruit, a legal officer from Lichtenburg.

“Police raided 15 properties and seized 672 DVDs, 22 memory sticks, eight laptops, two computer tablets, 39 external hard drives, 25 books,” he said.

The accused faced various charges, including possession and distribution of child pornography, Makgale said.

“Officers are investigating allegations of child-pornography manufacturing and more arrests are expected,” he said, adding that those arrested had links to a global syndicate.
