Planetary Situation Update from Cobra: The New Financial System

There is a lot of confusion about the collateral accounts, even among people working behind the scenes. Let us clear that confusion.

Collateral accounts were a creation of the Cabal after WW1 when they persuaded many nations to give up their gold into their custody with an excuse that a gold-backed financial system with strong independent national banks creates geopolitical instability and can lead into wars like WW1. Bank of International Settlements (BIS) was created for that reason in 1930. After the creation of BIS, the Cabal went to China and persuaded the Chinese (sometimes gently and sometimes not so gently) to give up their gold in exchange for phony bonds.The Cabal never had any intention to repay these bonds back. The next phase of their operations was to steal the rest of the Eastern gold through the operation Golden Lily and then bury their lot in Philippines (Yamashita gold) and in Indonesia.

This gold was used to underwrite the western financial system under Bretton Woods agreement. The Cabal controlled the apparently fiat financial system which was visible and hid the shadow banking system which was created by putting large sums of money into central banking trading programs, using the hidden gold to back up their investment. Those programs soon generated astronomical sums of virtual money which could not be taken out of the banks as it was part of the shadow banking system (for example White Spiritual Boy account with all its virtual quadrillions of dollars) and only very small part of it was taken out through money laundering operations. Nobody who was not tied to Cabal was ever allowed close to those prosperity programs and even a small fraction of the programs that tried to include non-Cabal oriented people were soon seized or shot down by the Cabal.

The Cabal was steadily using the gold they have stolen to finance the construction of their underground military bases and their secret space program between 1953 and 2004.
 

In February 2012, the Resistance Movement removed all that gold from the hands of the Cabal. This is the reason Fulford can not find real proof of any current gold vaults anywhere in Asia. That removal of gold was a brilliant move. From then on we are having a real fiat financial system on the surface on the planet. That kind of financial system is very unstable and the Cabal has to be very careful with their financial machinations. For the first time in human history the financial system in not underwritten by gold.  This creates a dynamic tension which speeds up the Event because such financial system can not exist for a very long time and would eventually collapse on its own due to lack of trust and lack of real foundation and that would be the last possible moment for the Event.

Now the Cabal tries to underwrite their unstable financial system with worldwide real estate grab and this is the reason for so many foreclosures of homes.

There is a lot of misunderstanding about the bonds the Cabal was issuing since the 1930s. These bonds can be never repaid back since the Cabal does not have the gold they stole throughout the ages from humanity anymore. They are also very short on liquid cash and that little they have is far from enough to repay even a small fraction of those bonds.
The purpose of these bonds is not to extract value from the Cabal but to use them as a tool to enforce the bankruptcy of their corrupt financial system when the time is right.

Historical owners of all that gold and bonds that represent it are not the Chinese, nor Keenan, nor White Dragons Society, nor anybody appointed M1 (monetary controller). The institute of M1 is a creation of the Cabal. The owner and true heir is humanity as a whole and after the Event the collateral accounts will be transferred to humanity in total.

After the Event the Resistance will return the gold to humanity and it will be stored on the surface of the planet to underwrite the new financial system. Therefore that gold will not be traded in open market, whereas gold in private ownership will be traded and exchanged freely.

This structuring of the new financial system is one part of a secret agreement which was made between 57 members of the Eastern Alliance in the Monaco Accords meeting in August 2011.

No new M1 will be appointed. No member of the Cabal will be allowed anywhere close to the collateral accounts, let alone the new Jesuit pope, and most of those people will be arrested anyway.

Various groups that are working to liberate the financial system from the hands of the Cabal (White Dragons, Keenan, OPPT) will have advisory role and a council of government officials democratically elected after the Event will be the trustees of the collateral accounts. The whole system will be completely transparent and this transparency will be supervised by the Resistance Movement.

Currency Revaluation (Iraqi Dinar, Vietnamese Vong) will have a minor role in the reset of the financial system as this is a transition into a true gold backed system under the supervision of the Light forces and NOT a speculative revaluation of currencies.

This new financial system will be only a temporary solution as true cashless society will be created on the surface of this planet after the First Contact, backed up by advanced spiritual technologies of the Galactic Confederation. This cashless society will recognize true value of incarnated human souls and will provide them with physical and spiritual abundance.

Many people are wondering why the Event does not happen already. It is because all etheric negative entities must be removed before that in order for the key members of the Event operation teams on the surface of the planet to work harmoniously. It is true that statistical mean value for the expected number of casualties at the time of the Event is around 100,000 people. But if anything goes wrong among the key people of the surface population coordinating the Event operations, it could  be much higher and easily reach tens of millions of people and that is something the Light forces are not willing to risk. We have seen so many instances when so-called light workers or light warriors manifested intolerable behavior because they were under the influence of the etheric Archons. You might remember the French Revolution. It started so well and you know how it ended.

The Event will happen when it will happen. Until it happens, let us do everything that is within our power to make it happen as son as possible in a harmonious way. It is important for the Light forces on the surface of the planet to unite, communicate, coordinate intel and align strategies.

ITCCS leader Steve Finney assaulted and bloodied by Kitchener Ontario police, jailed illegally without charges
Kitchener, Ontario CANADA:
After being illegally arrested yesterday without being charged with anything, political prisoner Steve Finney, a leader of the ITCCS and Common Law movement in Canada and a declared citizen of the fledgling Republic of Kanata, was assaulted by Kitchener police this morning and appeared bruised and bloodied in a Kitchener courtroom. Steve was ordered to be detained another day until a bail hearing is held tomorrow.

“His right cheek is all bruised and bleeding, there’s blood all over his face, and there’s a big bruise under his nose that has blood on it” described his wife Amy Smart.

“I asked him who did it and he pointed to one of the uniformed cops in the courtroom”.

Steve and Amy have been outspoken critics of the Childrens’ Aid Society (CAS) and the police of the Kitchener-Waterloo area for their involvement in trafficking local children. The couple have picketed local CAS offices and called on residents to ignore the “false jurisdiction of crown courts”. In response, CAS officials have seized their five year old daughter Amber.

Both Steve and Amy are declared citizens of the Republic of Kanata.

“We need everybody to come down here tomorrow to the courthouse to see what’s happening” said Amy in a telephone interview this morning.

“This is a police state. Steve’s name wasn’t even listed on the court register this morning when he appeared, and they still aren’t charging him with anything. They wouldn’t allow a bail hearing today even when Steve asked for one because he has a job to go to. They’re trying to destroy us for our beliefs and ’cause we know what they’re doing to our children. But we won’t ever give up.”

The Kitchener ITCCS and local Republic of Kanata chapter have called a media conference for 9 am tomorrow, Tuesday October 1, along with a public protest, outside the Kitchener-Waterloo Criminal Courthouse. The address is 85 Frederick street in Kitchener, Ontario.

Come and rally to defend this targeted family, and an innocent man: brave defenders of liberty and our children. Don’t let them crush us one by one!

Stunning South Carolina Ruling Supports Foreclosed Homeowners

South Carolina Court Upholds Ruling That Foreclosure Law of U.S. Supreme Court Trumps Everything: Foreclosing Party Must Own Both The Note and The Mortgage to Foreclose.

“The Court determined that “Plaintiff failed to show that it owned the Mortgage at the time the Complaint was filed”, and also noted that the Mortgage shows MERS to be the mortgagee but that “MERS is never mentioned in the Note.”

 

In a stunning ruling from the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Common Pleas of Charleston, South Carolina, a Judge has issued a detailed, 4-page written opinion dismissing a foreclosure action filed by Deutsche Bank National Trust Company as the claimed trustee of an IndyMac securitization, holding that DB failed to show that it was the owner and holder of the original Note and Mortgage at the time the Complaint was filed. FDN South Carolina network counsel Bill Sloan, Esq. represents the homeowner and prepared and argued the homeowner’s Motion to Dismiss.

Counsel for DB made the familiar argument that it had possession of the original Note endorsed in blank, that the Note was a negotiable instrument under the UCC, that the Mortgage follows the Note, and that thus DB had established its right to foreclose. The Court disagreed, citing precedent from the United States Supreme Court’s decision in Carpenter v. Longan, 83 U.S. 271, 16 Wall. 271, 21 L.Ed. 313 (1872) which the Court found “clearly supports the notion that the Plaintiff must own the Note and the Mortgage to foreclose on the property (emphasis in the opinion).” The Court determined that “Plaintiff failed to show that it owned the Mortgage at the time the Complaint was filed”, and also noted that the Mortgage shows MERS to be the mortgagee but that “MERS is never mentioned in the Note.”

The Court stated: “It is clear that to have standing in this foreclosure case, Plaintiff must not only be the holder and owner of the original Note, but also the Mortgage as well. Plaintiff’s Complaint in this case fails to meet this criteria. Plaintiff lacks standing to initiate and prosecute the foreclosure, and dismissal pursuant to Rule 17(a) and Rule 12(b)(6) SCRCP is appropriate.”

This ruling is based on foreclosure law from the United States Supreme Court, which trumps any contrary state law which does not require the foreclosing Plaintiff to own both the Note and the Mortgage at the time that the foreclosure Complaint is filed. This ruling demonstrates the essential fallacy in the “UCC, I have the Note, mortgage follows the Note” theory espoused by every attorney for the banks and servicers. What remains to be seen is whether the judiciary handling foreclosure cases will follow the law of the U.S. Supreme Court or not.

Looting the Pension Funds

All across America, Wall Street is grabbing money meant for public workers

In the final months of 2011, almost two years before the city of Detroit would shock America by declaring bankruptcy in the face of what it claimed were insurmountable pension costs, the state of Rhode Island took bold action to avert what it called its own looming pension crisis. Led by its newly elected treasurer, Gina Raimondo – an ostentatiously ambitious 42-year-old Rhodes scholar and former venture capitalist – the state declared war on public pensions, ramming through an ingenious new law slashing benefits of state employees with a speed and ferocity seldom before seen by any local government.

Detroit’s Debt Crisis: Everything Must Go

Called the Rhode Island Retirement Security Act of 2011, her plan would later be hailed as the most comprehensive pension reform ever implemented. The rap was so convincing at first that the overwhelmed local burghers of her little petri-dish state didn’t even know how to react. “She’s Yale, Harvard, Oxford – she worked on Wall Street,” says Paul Doughty, the current president of the Providence firefighters union. “Nobody wanted to be the first to raise his hand and admit he didn’t know what the fuck she was talking about.”

Soon she was being talked about as a probable candidate for Rhode Island’s 2014 gubernatorial race. By 2013, Raimondo had raised more than $2 million, a staggering sum for a still-undeclared candidate in a thimble-size state. Donors from Wall Street firms like Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital and JPMorgan Chase showered her with money, with more than $247,000 coming from New York contributors alone. A shadowy organization called EngageRI, a public-advocacy group of the 501(c)4 type whose donors were shielded from public scrutiny by the infamous Citizens United decision, spent $740,000 promoting Raimondo’s ideas. Within Rhode Island, there began to be whispers that Raimondo had her sights on the presidency. Even former Obama right hand and Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel pointed to Rhode Island as an example to be followed in curing pension woes.

What few people knew at the time was that Raimondo’s “tool kit” wasn’t just meant for local consumption. The dynamic young Rhodes scholar was allowing her state to be used as a test case for the rest of the country, at the behest of powerful out-of-state financiers with dreams of pushing pension reform down the throats of taxpayers and public workers from coast to coast. One of her key supporters was billionaire former Enron executive John Arnold – a dickishly ubiquitous young right-wing kingmaker with clear designs on becoming the next generation’s Koch brothers, and who for years had been funding a nationwide campaign to slash benefits for public workers.

Nor did anyone know that part of Raimondo’s strategy for saving money involved handing more than $1 billion – 14 percent of the state fund – to hedge funds, including a trio of well-known New York-based funds: Dan Loeb’s Third Point Capital was given $66 million, Ken Garschina’s Mason Capital got $64 million and $70 million went to Paul Singer’s Elliott Management. The funds now stood collectively to be paid tens of millions in fees every single year by the already overburdened taxpayers of her ostensibly flat-broke state. Felicitously, Loeb, Garschina and Singer serve on the board of the Manhattan Institute, a prominent conservative think tank with a history of supporting benefit-slashing reforms. The institute named Raimondo its 2011 “Urban Innovator” of the year.

The state’s workers, in other words, were being forced to subsidize their own political disenfranchisement, coughing up at least $200 million to members of a group that had supported anti-labor laws. Later, when Edward Siedle, a former SEC lawyer, asked Raimondo in a column for Forbes.com how much the state was paying in fees to these hedge funds, she first claimed she didn’t know. Raimondo later told the Providence Journal she was contractually obliged to defer to hedge funds on the release of “proprietary” information, which immediately prompted a letter in protest from a series of freaked-out interest groups. Under pressure, the state later released some fee information, but the information was originally kept hidden, even from the workers themselves. “When I asked, I was basically hammered,” says Marcia Reback, a former sixth-grade schoolteacher and retired Providence Teachers Union president who serves as the lone union rep on Rhode Island’s nine-member State Investment Commission. “I couldn’t get any information about the actual costs.”

This is the third act in an improbable triple-fucking of ordinary people that Wall Street is seeking to pull off as a shocker epilogue to the crisis era. Five years ago this fall, an epidemic of fraud and thievery in the financial-services industry triggered the collapse of our economy. The resultant loss of tax revenue plunged states everywhere into spiraling fiscal crises, and local governments suffered huge losses in their retirement portfolios – remember, these public pension funds were some of the most frequently targeted suckers upon whom Wall Street dumped its fraud-riddled mortgage-backed securities in the pre-crash years.

Today, the same Wall Street crowd that caused the crash is not merely rolling in money again but aggressively counterattacking on the public-relations front. The battle increasingly centers around public funds like state and municipal pensions. This war isn’t just about money. Crucially, in ways invisible to most Americans, it’s also about blame. In state after state, politicians are following the Rhode Island playbook, using scare tactics and lavishly funded PR campaigns to cast teachers, firefighters and cops – not bankers – as the budget-devouring boogeymen responsible for the mounting fiscal problems of America’s states and cities.

Secrets and Lies of the Bailout

Not only did these middle-class workers already lose huge chunks of retirement money to huckster financiers in the crash, and not only are they now being asked to take the long-term hit for those years of greed and speculative excess, but in many cases they’re also being forced to sit by and watch helplessly as Gordon Gekko wanna-be’s like Loeb or scorched-earth takeover artists like Bain Capital are put in charge of their retirement savings.

This very brief video is urgent! For the past few years I have known that something very big was going to happen by October of this year; perhaps the beginning of the end. Lindsey Williams has said the same thing: That a planned crash and martial law have been planned for October. Here now is another urgent confirmation: 

1) Look for about a 40% drop in both the stock market and the value of the dollar. 

2) Chaos, food shortages, severe restrictions and martial law are planned. (Obama will win out, I think. This is why he was installed as President in the first place. It is the big CHANGE he promised!) 

3) If you have money in the markets, now is the time to liquidate (at least some of it) and…

4) PREPARE! Stock up on things you use every day: Food, toilet paper, etc. If you have any emergency plans at all, now is the time to reconsider – and implement – them. If not now, WHEN?

5) Turn some of your ready cash (which will soon lose its value) into junk silver (pre-1964 coins) and/or gold. 

6) Also, stock up on what you may need in the immediate future (seeds, supplements & meds, toothpaste, etc.).

7) Do you have a second option as to where to go if need be? This is especially true for those who live in cities, or near crowded, racially-mixed areas.  

I consider this a final warning. This has been planned and promised for a long time, but these warnings usually become stale news to most, therefore dulling them down so they won’t do anything. Well, OK, just stick your head back into the sand and wait for whatever might come up behind you. My guess is that it will feel like a boot or a two-by-four when it hits. So consider this as an early weather warning. A hurricane is on its way, and numerous waterspouts and tornadoes are coming with it as well…  JAN

The global currency revaluation in many ways represents this turn of events and indeed, we consider the revaluation to be the ‘kick of the mule’ which is to jettison these haughty ones from power. As Ascended Masters of surface humanity, Spirit has assigned us a most wondrous and grace-filled task. Each of you is a grand spiritual essence that was born into a reduced capacity of mind in which it is hard for you to grasp what we are trying to describe. Full consciousness is when the entirety of physicality and of Heaven merge into coherence within you. Then, each thought you have is reflective of this coherence, allowing you to be cognizant of and at one with the Creator and an amazing divine plan. You can then confidently use your abilities and talents to unfold physicality and to know the whys and wherefores of any event in your past, present, or future. This happens because these illusory linear-time constructs of the third dimension are now merged into the one eternal now moment of 5-D where they can easily be read. To realize this ability, and many, many others, you need to learn about the physics of physicality and Spirit.

The attainment of this essential wisdom took us many lifetimes of very spiritually dedicated lives to accomplish. Now Heaven desires you to likewise integrate this wisdom, but you are to do it with a great deal of spiritual and physical assistance. This assistance will begin with the essential foundation of new governance and a great liberating prosperity for each one of you. It is time to be, to learn, and to accept many things: secrets hidden by the dark will be disclosed; great wealth will be shared; and branches of your human family, long denied easy access to you, will come to envelop you in a home-coming that is central to your achieving Heaven’s grand decree. You are enormously blessed because you represent a group of humans who are shortly to transform your entire solar system and indeed, the whole of this galaxy. You are destined to spread a great Light across the galaxy and to integrate it with what is now sweeping throughout this grand Universe!

Today, we reviewed what is happening on your world. Incredible events and shocking announcements are about to take place. These will transform your world and permit you to become fully conscious Beings of Light. Ahead of you lies a new reality and most importantly, a new state of Being! “Truckers To Shut Down America” Update…Canada Joins USA…Number Tops 70,000

UPDATE… MONDAY MORNING September 23, 2013. It would appear that Facebook has taken down the “Truckers to Shut Down America” page. Last night there were 81,000 likes the last time I checked. Do not worry. I am writing an update as we speak. They have a new website.

If you look at the original post below you can see the carnage of what has happened. There were originally around 20 Facebook status updates pasted into this article. They are now all gone. I have finished an update and it can be found here.

What a difference a few days can make. Wow! Three days ago I wrote a story about a group of truckers who were vowing to launch a national strike from October 11th through October 13th. At that time there were less than 20,000 likes on their Facebook Page which can be found here. As of now there are over 71,000 and growing.

The first exciting development is that a group of Canadian truckers has joined the movement. They are just getting started so if you have Canadian friends please share this with them as a show of solidarity.

There is also a page set up now where us “non-truckers” can donate fuel to those who will be rolling into D.C. on our behalf.

Freedom Outpost’s Suzanne Hamner was one of the first to break this story and gave her own series of updates on Friday:

Three days after I wrote about the march, the site has garnered over 67,000 likes and new developments have arisen that could only have happened due to the overwhelming support for our hard working truck driving friends.

Many Americans are supporting the 18 wheel drivers rolling to DC by pledging to boycott those three days by staying home and avoiding all money transactions for those days. But, individuals are not the only ones who have come out in support of this endeavor. A few members with Indiana Overpass for Obama’s Impeachment are offering to pay for hotel rooms and a meal or two for the truckers.

A truck stop in Baton Rouge, LA is offering 50 gallons of free fuel to the first 20 truckers that come by their establishment with pictures showing their rig in DC during those three days.

There has even been a post from a man in Germany, written in German, supporting the million trucker march to DC.

Truck drivers are posting pictures of themselves with their trucks and indicating whether they will shut down and stay home or shut down for the drive to DC.

Pictures? Did Suzanne say pictures? Why don’t you look for yourself my friends. I think it is much more gratifying to see evidence than to simply read about it. I have posted a number of status updates below from the Truckers to Shut Down America Facebook Page. I do want to mention one thing that you may not realize. Under many of these statuses you will see comments from other truckers announcing that they will be standing in solidarity. You might want to pick a random status or two just to see what is going on.

I might have gone a bit overboard with the number I posted here but I wanted to prove that this thing is already guaranteed to be bigger than the 1 Million Muslim March. Enjoy my friends!

Traditional elders, shamans and clergy gathered near the Vatican today and in at least six other countries to inaugurate a new spiritual regime that nullifies and replaces the Church of Rome, as well as “ungodly laws and economies”.

Invoking divine authority, the closed ceremonies culminated twenty one days of global prayer and fasting on behalf of “all of the victims of a false church and its spirit of lies and murder”.

In Rome, nine elders held a sacred circle ceremony near the Via della Conciliazione opposite St. Peter’s Square to “complete the cycle of exorcism begun here in 2009”, according to participant Brother Ciaran Ui Niall of Wexford, Ireland, who stated during the opening proceedings,

“The Roman papacy has been found guilty in the courts of man because first it was condemned by God. Divine judgement knows no compromise or evasion, and says, ‘I the Lord God am against the false shepherds and shall destroy them and their evil.’ And so we witness today to the spiritual truth that the rule of Rome is over, for God has dissolved all such man made authority on earth, and all unjust rulers, whether religious or secular.”

Similar ceremonies occurred in London, Cork, Amsterdam, Boston, Vancouver and eight other cities, and were accompanied by the occupation and seizure of catholic churches by citizens bearing common law warrants.

The Spiritual Reclamation was accompanied by a global media statement that clarified the full dimension of the Sunday Equinox Jubilee action. It reads in part,

“On August 4, 2013, the corporate entity calling itself the Church of Rome was lawfully disestablished and publicly declared to be a global criminal body, without standing or authority.

Today, on Equinox Sunday, September 22, 2013, the same criminal entity has been spiritually disestablished, declared abomination, anathema and anti-Christ, and banished from the world. Christians are now free to be faithful to Christ alone within their own self-governing congregations, separate from the corporate apostasy of the papacy and mediated religion. For God’s law lives in every human heart and not in institutions.

Likewise, the fallen social and economic global order instituted historically by the corporation of the Church of Rome is similarly disestablished according to the Jubilee Leviticus Laws of Renewal and Equality within the new Jubilee congregations we are forming, as a sign of the new creation.

The world and the land shall rest from injustice, greed and usury. All debts and interest rates are cancelled, and the land and its wealth is placed in common so that all people may dwell in peace and equality, as God wills it to be. Let all people rally to this new Jubilee order under the direct supremacy of God and Natural Law.”

In Ireland, Canada and America, catholic clergy have already announced their plan to disaffiliate from Rome and establish their own national, congregationally-based churches, according to Not in Our Name (NON), a Dublin based group. A similar movement has begun in the American mid-west in a Common Law Congregational Movement, which seeks to base Christian churches on Common Law rather than be tied to the state or admiralty and canon law.

Meltdown in Washington: President Obama Reported Sedated Following Emotional Breakdown

<National Report> Late this afternoon White House insiders leaked information stating the president has suffered a mental breakdown and is presently resting and under a doctors care. This afternoon the National Report received three calls on our nationwide hot tip line (206) 222-1975. The caller unknown to this publication is a low level employee who could only state that there was some kind of a medical emergency involving President Obama. The other two callers known to us are both support personnel within the Obama administration. Both confirmed this week has been a political disaster for the president and this has taken a tremendous toll on him.
Russian President Vladimir Putin Has Recently Shamed Obama on the World Stage

Earlier this week Russian President Vladimir Putin derailed the president’s plan to bomb Syria and bury the U.S. in another war the people want nothing to do with and can ill afford to pay for. Putin negotiated a deal with Syria for control over its chemical weapons providing a peaceful resolution to a certain US attack. With the world watching Obama was forced to stand down causing him a great deal of shame and public embarrassment.

Before Putin extended the olive branch of diplomacy to resolve the Syrian crisis, he also agreed to grant asylum to Edward Snowden, the man who stole US secret documents that exposed the NSA secret program already underway and approved by President Obama to spy on all US citizens. Not only did Snowden expose the top secret NSA program to the world, he escaped US authorities in China and arrived in Russia where he repeatedly bitch-slapped the president by releasing more US secrets to the media.

Safely in the arms of Mother Russia Snowden, showed the world people how helpless and weak the Obama administration is at being utter failures at diplomacy, tact and statesmanship. While Putin and Obama were engaged in “negotiations” over Snowden’s extradition, Snowden and Putin were engaged in conversation about Snowden’s defecting to Russia.

In the past couple weeks the big winners on the world stage have been Syria, Russia, Snowden and Putin; all at the expense of America’s impotent and fraudulent president.

When the doctor emerged he was heard to say the president needed rest and would be sedated once he was moved to his bed. The White House has told federal agencies to prepare for a partial government shutdown on Oct 1

The White House has told federal agencies to prepare for a partial government shutdown on Oct. 1, as time continues to run out on a Congressional deal with no clear end in sight.

The Office of Management and Budget sent a memo to agency heads on Tuesday urging them to be “prepared for the possibility of a lapse.”

“The Administration does not want a lapse in appropriations to occur,” OMB Director Sylvia Burwell wrote in the memo. “There is enough time for Congress to prevent a lapse in appropriations, and the Administration is willing to work with Congress.”

The memo comes as the possibility of a government shutdown has increased over the past few days. On Tuesday, Potomac Research Group’s Greg Valliere put the odds of a shutdown at 25%, up from 10% a month ago.

Chris Krueger, a Washington analyst at Guggenheim Securities, raised the odds of a shutdown to 40% on Wednesday. And his 60% odds on the other side were based on “blind faith, because there is little to no evidence to suggest that the House, Senate, and White House can agree to a stopgap measure in time.”

House Speaker John Boehner announced Wednesday that the House will look to pass a continuing-resolution bill that keeps funding at current sequestration levels and strips funding for the Affordable Care Act. It will go to the Senate, where it will be dead on arrival. And President Barack Obama would not sign the bill into law.

Meanwhile, Obama made an impassioned plea before the Business Roundtable in Washington on Wednesday, where he urged some of the nation’s top corporate executives to implore Republicans to avoid brinksmanship on a shutdown and over the debt ceiling.

“It is going to be important for all of you I think over the next several weeks to understand what’s at stake and to make sure that you are using your influence in whatever way you can to get back to what used to be called regular order around here,” Obama said,

“Doing things in a way that reflect the genuine, messy negotiations of democracy but do not promise apocalypse every three months. And I think this is the time for us to say once and for all we can’t afford these kinds of plays.”

Russia urges UN climate report to include geoengineering

The Russian government is asking for ‘planet hacking’ to be included in the climate science report, leaked documents show

Russia is pushing for next week’s landmark UN climate science report to include support for controversial technologies to geoengineer the planet’s climate, according to documents obtained by the Guardian.

As climate scientists prepare to gather for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in Stockholm to present the most authoritative state of climate science to date, it has emerged the Russian government is asking for “planet hacking” to be included in the report. The IPCC has not included geoengineering in its major assessments before.

The documents seen by the Guardian show Russia is asking for a conclusion of the report to say that a “possible solution of this [climate change] problem can be found in using of [sic] geoengineering methods to stabilise current climate.” Russia also highlighted that its scientists are developing geoengineering technologies.

Geoengineering aims to cool the Earth by methods including spraying sulphate aerosols into the stratosphere to reflect sunlight, or fertilising the oceans with iron to create carbon-capturing algal blooms.

Such ideas are increasingly being discussed by western scientists and governments as a plan B for addressing climate change, with the new astronomer royal, Professor Sir Martin Rees, calling last week for such methods to buy time to develop sources of clean energy. But the techniques have been criticised as a way for powerful, industrialised nations to dodge their commitments to reduce carbon emissions.

Some modelling has shown geoengineering could be effective at reducing the Earth’s temperature, but manipulation of sensitive planetary systems in one area of the world could also result in drastic unintended consequences globally, such as radically disrupted rainfall.

Responding to efforts to discredit the climate science with a spoiler campaign in advance of the report, the chairman of the IPCC, Rajendra K Pachauri, said he was confident the high standards of the science in the report would make the case for climate action. He said: “There will be enough information provided so that rational people across the globe will see that action is needed on climate change.”

The Russian scientist Yuri Izrael, who has participated in IPCC geoengineering expert groups and was an adviser to the former Russian president Vladimir Putin, conducted an experiment in 2009 that sprayed particles from a helicopter to assess how much sunlight was blocked by the aerosol plume. A planned test in Britain that would have used a balloon attached to a 1km hose to develop equipment for spraying was prevented after a public outcry.

Observers have suggested that Russia’s admission that it is developing geoengineering may put it in violation of the UN moratorium on geoengineering projects established at the Biodiversity Convention in 2010 and should be discussed on an emergency basis when the convention’s scientific subcommittee meets in Montreal in October.

Civil society organisations have previously raised concerns that expert groups writing geoengineering sections of the IPCC report were dominated by US, UK and Canadian geoengineering advocates who have called for public funding of large-scale experiments or who have taken out commercial patents on geoenginering technologies. One scientist who served as a group co-chair, David Keith of Harvard University, runs a private geoengineering company, has planned tests in New Mexico, and is publicising a new book called The Case for Climate Engineering.

Nearly 160 civil society, indigenous and environmental organisations signed a letter in 2011 urging caution and calling on the IPCC not to legitimise geoengineering.

Silvia Ribeiro, Latin America director of the technology watchdog ETC Group, said: “We have been warning that a few geoengineering advocates have been trying to hijack the IPCC for their agenda. We are now seeing a deliberate attempt to exploit the high profile and credibility of this body in order to create more mainstream support for extreme climate engineering. The public and policymakers need to be on guard against being steamrollered into accepting dangerous and immoral interventions with our planet, which are a false solution to climate change. Geoengineering should be banned by the UN general assembly.”

Matthew Watson, a senior lecturer at the University of Bristol’s Earth sciences department and one of the team behind the cancelled balloon project, said: “In general ought the IPCC to be thinking about geoengineering? Yes. But do I want to see unilateralism or regionalism affect the debate? Certainly not. The people who don’t like geoengineering will suggest the IPCC is a method for normalising it.”

He added: “The IPCC has to be very careful about how it handles this [geoengineering] because it is clearly a very significant output that people are very mindful of.”

While the IPCC is intended to be a scientific advisory panel, government delegates have been reviewing the summary report and make final decisions about it in Stockholm at the end of the month.

Sweden, Norway and Germany expressed more scepticism about geoengineering and asked that the report underline its potential dangers.

“The information on geoengineering options is too optimistic as it does not appropriately reflect the current lack of knowledge or the high risks associated with such methods,” noted the German government.

Geoengineering is expected to play a much larger role in the next IPCC reports coming out in 2014. Observers were surprised that it had turned up in this first major report – meant to assess physical science rather than mitigation strategies.

Russia’s climate negotiators did not respond to a request for comment.

I Too Have Become Disillusioned

THE WASHINGTON POST ATTACKS OBAMA

[NOTE: The following would of little interest if I had written it. In fact I already have written it –– dozens of times. The remarkable thing is that finally, the Washington Post and Newsweek, both recognized as highly liberal, have seen fit –– at long last –– to print an article attacking President Obama  –– a newsworthy phenomenon in and of itself. The unpleasant truths about our President and his agenda are starting to trickle through the “protective wall” built around him by the liberal media. ~ FreeThinke]

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world’s largest economy, direct the world’s most powerful military, execute the world’s most consequential job?

Imagine a future historian examining Obama’s pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League, despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a “community organizer;” a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement –– nearly devoid of his attention in fact, so often did he vote “present;” and finally an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.

He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator. And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama’s “spiritual mentor;” an actual real-life terrorist who served as Obama’s colleague and political sponsor. It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth could such a man have been elected president?

Not content to wait for history … Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal: To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken anti-American  like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant domestic terrorist like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day. But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberal Dom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were a bit extreme, he was given a pass. Let that sink in: Obama was given a pass –– held to a lower standard –– because of the color of his skin.

Podhoretz continues: And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and –– as he himself had said –– “non-threatening,” all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest?

Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon –– Affirmative Action. Not in the legal sense, perhaps, but certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make … white liberals, feel good about themselves.

Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back. Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow. Liberals don’t care if these minority students fail; liberals aren’t around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self-esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action. Yes, racist. Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin –– that’s affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn’t racism, nothing is.

And that is what America did to Obama. True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be? As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia, despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate. All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.

What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks? In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama’s oratory skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people –– conservatives included –– ought now to be deeply embarrassed.

The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that’s when he has his Teleprompter in front of him; when the prompter is absent, he can barely think or speak at all. Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth –– it’s all warmed-over Marxism –– ideas that have failed over and over again for a hundred years.

And what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles: Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. Remember, he wanted the job, campaigned for the task. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been held responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office.

Remember please the foregoing was published in The Washington Post. That makes it extraordinary. Frankly, even I thought some of it excessively condemnatory. I also wonder how Mr. Patterson could know that President Obama’s grades were unremarkable, since most of us who do not respect the president’s political philosophy and worldview have complained for years that his academic record has been officially hidden from public view? Let us pray this new, cruelly critical approach will not serve merely to increase the sympathy vote for the foundering fiasco now occupying the White House.

Karen Hudes Predicts Lawlessness when U S Dollar Loses International Currency Status

Karen Hudes, a former 20 year employee of the World Bank, contends the U.S. credit rating is on very dubious ground. Hudes says, “This is actually an underhanded move because they know the U.S. dollar is going to lose its status as an international currency.” What would that look like to the man on the street? Hudes predicts, “Prices would change on a daily basis. They would double. Egypt Takes Path Toward Rejecting Globalist Control

In what many analysts are considering a decided shift back toward Egyptian Nasserism (meaning Arab nationalism based upon the precedent set by former Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser), the Egyptian Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade, Mounir Fkhry Abdel-Nour has stated that Egypt will no longer be seeking a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

This decision, which was largely anticipated by those following the Egyptian countercoup and the apparent nationalistic tendencies of Gen. Sisi, would reverse a trend that was set in motion decades ago by corrupt Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak and accelerated by Muslim Brotherhood fanatic Muhammed Morsi. Under both Mubarak and Morsi, Egyptian standards of living plummeted, prices rose, and economic stagnation took hold. As a condition of the IMF loans, an onslaught of “free-market” reforms, privatizations schemes, and austerity measures began to take place with even more being expected in the future, such as a value-added tax publicly advocated by the Muslim Brotherhood ruling class.

The history of the IMF’s involvement in Egypt is, as it has been everywhere else, a tragic one.

As Jack Shenker of the Guardian wrote in 2009,

Ever since, the country has been subject to successive waves of neoliberal reform. In 1996 a huge privatisation drive kicked off – resulting in sham sales to public banks and regime cronies, a rapid deterioration of working conditions and a wave of strikes so powerful that one analyst labelled it the largest social movement seen in the Middle East in half a century.

Then 2004 brought a new cabinet which swiftly cut the top rate of tax from 42% to 20%, leaving multimillionaires paying exactly the same proportion of their income into government coffers as those on an annual salary of less than £500. Special economic zones were created, foreign investment reached dizzying heights ($13bn in 2008) and, in the past three years, economic growth has clocked in at a consistently high 7%. The minimum wage, incidentally, has remained fixed at less than £4 a month throughout. The global business community applauded Mubarak’s rule as “bold”, “impressive” and “prudent”.
As WSWS notes, after the ouster of Mubarak and the election of the Muslim Brotherhood, “social inequality in Egypt has deepened. Food prices are rising, and more than two decades after the last deal between the IMF and Egypt in 1991, over 40 percent of the population live on less than $2 a day, while a tiny, super-rich layer at the top of society is increasing its fortunes.”

Indeed, the economic crisis only escalated when the corrupt, fanatical, and incompetent Muslim Brotherhood took power, pursuing Mubarak’s legacy of yet another deal with the IMF which would have lead to even further tragic consequence for the average Egyptian. From attempts to remove subsidies on necessities like food and oil, the raising of the sales tax, and the implementation of a value-added tax, the Muslim Brotherhood’s economic program was an abysmal failure.

Thus, with the recent announcement by the interim Egyptian government of the abandonment of any request for a loan from the IMF, many analysts have predicted “the process of a historic re-orientation, last seen in the early 1970s.”

One of the most notable aspects of this possible “re-orientation” would be a significant turn away from a close relationship with the United States and a pivot toward Russia as the nation seeks to regain its prominence that it once experienced during a period where it was free from the yoke of the United States.

In a rather frank statement, Egyptian Minister Abdel-Nour pointed out that Egypt “is currently facing a plot, which appears clearly through the terror acts and stances of some international media outlets against the government and democracy.” Although Abdel-Nour did not elaborate (or if he did his elaborations were not reported), it is largely understood that the Minister is referring to the Anglo-American powers that have not only attempted to control Egypt for the last several decades but to destabilize it no less than twice in the last two years, even attempting to use it as a spearhead military force against Syria and Ethiopia.

Furthering suspicions regarding Egypt’s turn toward Russia and away from the United States, Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy stated on September 16, during his visit to Russia that “Egypt appreciates Russia’s “supporting stance to the Egyptian people’s will”. Fahmy also stated that “Egyptian foreign policy is seeking to develop relations with Russia, boost bilateral cooperation and enhance mutual interests”.

Fahmy’s statement regarding the unfolding crisis in Syria – with the United States and the rest of the Anglo-American world foaming at the mouth to take military action against Syria – was likewise revealing. In regards to the latest Russian initiative to seek diplomatic solutions to the chemical weapons controversy (which has been entirely organized and fabricated by the West from the very beginning), Fahmy stated that “If this initiative should be successful, it would become the most important element for the protection against the threat of a division of the Middle East, as it occurred after the first World War. Should a military solution for solving the crisis be chosen, it would bring the real threat of splitting parts of the Eastern Mediterranean region”.

When one observes the developments taking shape in Egypt on a singular and individual basis, it might appear at first glance that the nation is experiencing the same turmoil and unstable political life that many Middle Eastern nations are currently experiencing across the region. However, when one steps back and takes a look at the bigger picture, it seems that what is taking place in Egypt is indeed more than a simple confluence of circumstances but a true realignment of political power both within and outside the country. If Egypt takes a turn towards nationalism and Nasserism then the Anglo-American world will necessarily find itself another center of resistance to global hegemony in the Middle East.
